HPI BAJA 5B UPGRADES 

i figured out the problem man, there was way too much thread on bar inside the shock and it was unscrewing itself!! so i took off the shock, grinded the tread back a little bit and now its like new! i also brought the shock limiting straps and the cover for the pull string along with a custon exhaust which made a huge difference! havent put the straps on yet though. will do it soon enough... thanks for getting back to me and nice work with the vid :)

@AussieRcTips yep. honestly, i am ordering those next! you can clean those, and actualy maintain them! race proven, can't go wrong with fast eddy

yeah man. that happens if you don't have limiting straps. they are like 20 bucks and your shocks will last... mine have never popped out, it was one of my first upgrades.

Get an SS. It's so much more worth it than the 5B 2.0. The 2.0 RTR you will have to pull apart out of the box anyway, so you know it's locktited properly and shimmed.

hey mate, today i purchased a 5b and my left hand rear shock keeps popping out. just wondering if you have had the same problem or if anyone else has. either way, looks like a faulty one and ill get it replaced

Get those crappy HPI tires off it. HPI does a lot of things well, tires are not one of them. They are the worst tires out there, period. Get the Pro-Line Badlands, then the car will be drivable. That's the first thing you should ever do to ANY Baja. Upgrade your diff case too and shim the car with TFE shims. All the other stuff does not matter if your car is all over the place and wobbles and rattles.
