Welcome to Steel City RC channel. This is some footage of my HPI Baja 5T that I recently got together. I bought it used a couple years ago. Now finally back together. Rather unfortunate roll over crash ended it's day too soon. I literally got five minutes total run time today. So much fun though. I forgot how much of an animal the OBR g340 Signature Series was. Right!! I wasn't even disappointed that I broke it so fast.. It ran so well I didn't give a f. Need some limit straps for the arms. Actually excited to get it back out. Thanks for watching my friend 👊🤘

Thank you Steve! Man I was thinking in my head as I was running it. Wow is this thing fun. Is this gonna be my go to rig? Then I got whiskey throttle and landed that jump all jacked up lol. I got a load of spare parts from "some dude" about a week ago. All is good again. Appreciate the support my friend 👊🤘

Kris I really appreciate that man! I had no friggin clue what I was doing. So I kinda drug my feet doing it. As you can see I skimped using stock shocks with no limiters. Had no idea they broke that easy. Thanks for watching brother 👊🤘

Thank you so much! That engine is so impressive. It pushed my 43 pound Losi mtxl around for a year no problems. Now it is hitting the high notes in here. Appreciate you stopping by 👊 🤘

Thank You!!! Couldn't have said it better! We work hard for our money. I like to be as wise with it as possible. Saved some money repurposing that OBR engine that has been in a drawer. Now to sort out the shocks and some limit straps. I think it will be formidable. Appreciate you stopping by 👊 🤘

Todd! Thanks man! I was having so much fun. It was running fantastic. Jumping well. Till I was a bit too much into the throttle on the last jump. No air control so setup is key. Hope to see ya before summer ends! 👊🤘

Yo John thanks man! It is my first attempt at a baja truck. Seems pretty fragile. But they are stock ten year old shocks too. I just rebuilt the innerds. Thanks for watching my friend 👊🤘

Thanks man! I was just starting to have fun. Then I held into the throttle too long. Front end too high. It rolled. It's day over 😁 but man that OBR in there. Loving it. Dude I had no idea you have a 12S baja truck. Has to be a handful hey?

@@SteelCityRC I use it on the ice in the winter time , , 63 mph is my top speed so far with the SMC Lipos, there some video of it on my page , not the best lol , living on the lake I have a lot of Karen’s complaining on my gas RC ,s so brushless seams to keep them quite 🤞

Love the Baja! I would definitely keep most of this parts plastic! I tried metal before and the plastic is actually better because of the flex IMO!

Thank you brother! I agree. Plastic is where it's at. Unfortunately I broke a shock end in that crash lol. Some good shocks and limit straps I think it will be an animal. Appreciate you stopping by 👊 🤘
