Back in 2005, HPI racing changed large-scale R/C forever by announcing the HPI Baja 5b. We were instantly hooked as soon as we saw it and had to have one! Years later, The HPI Baja is still the one that changed the game! It has evolved and transformed over the years from the RTR 5b buggy, to the 5t truck, and now the 5sc short course model. They are even available in both gas and electric versions and RTR or kits that require full assembly.
The Baja 5b out of the box with paddle tires rules the sand dunes and when modified, can turn into a dune slaying, tire shredding, sand slinging monster with 10+ HP! Basically, the skies the limit when it comes to modifying and making the HPI Baja an incredible R/C!
The truck in this video is a highly modified HPI Baja 5t, with long travel suspension, high output 62cc engine, a Team Chase roll cage and custom body.
