if you have 3 gaps like that and answer 'its personal reasons', then that won't be enough. Better to elaborate. Basically they need to know what implications you faced that forced you to quit your jobs.

SLR stand for Sick Leave Reserve. Sick leave is the the time away from work provided by a company to its employees. The employees can use this reserve in event of an illness, injury, pregnancy etc. All of us are human beings and can fall sick at times. This is company's preparation to deal with such events. Through the question asked to you, the interviewer can establish following things: 1. Your fitness level - Too less an SLR might indicate that you fall sick too often or have a problem at home. If your SLR is too low, you may have to explain honestly. 2. Your exhaustion level - If your SLR is too high, it means you may not be taking a leave even when you are not well, which means that in such a scenario you may not be delivering what's expected from you on that day. 3. The question may further lead to, "How did you manage your time for this interview?" and they would be cautious if you say you called in sick. I would see this question as a way to understand your fitness level and attitude.

Stupid HR interviews miss a lot of qualified resources on the company and they are not aware of the value of the experts who you are talking !!! most of them have a misunderstanding about the concept of challenging the candidate ... take care from this point and don't let them enter you into their loops

Hi Parag, The reasons for gap in employment could be numerous - may be you were caring for an ailing family member, or may be you tried your hands at entrepreneurship.... As a reporting manager, I would not really mind a justified gap in employment if the person has the required skills and can deliver what the role demands. So, if you know that your CV is going to someone who is going to hire your directly, explain your position in the accompanying email and ask for an opportunity to see them in person. If your CV meet their needs, I'm sure they would call you for the interview. Another thing you can try is draft your CV more around your skills and how they are relevant to the role rather than your experience. Let me know if this helps. :)

After watching this video...I found myself that I need more 2 hours to do homework for all steps given in the video. They only leave questions with you they didn't provide a solution to you.
