Why is wearing trousers a sin ? There is no where in the Bible that says trousers is a sin. Trousers covers a female securely more than a skirt. If you fall , your decency is intact and protected, whereas a skirt can uplift if you fall. Trousers were not invented when Christ was alive. Men wore long gown . Which women too, dressed in.

Stop relying only on your own understanding, or Pastors, prophets, Overseers, and such as elders interpretations of the Bible , because that passage - Deuteronomy 22:5, clearly said : A woman is not to wear a Male clothing, and a man is not to put on a woman's garment ! That statement clearly means something that a man has worn and a garment that a woman has worn ! No where in the Bible does it say: 'A woman must not wear a Trouser' nor did it say 'A trouser is a man's clothing, but it specifically said a man must not wear ' A woman's garment ' why ? because at that time ( ancient times) men and women wore long/short looking garments ! Go and see ancient, Roman times, and medieval times dressings, men in the Roman times also wore togas. At the time when this passage was written, trousers were not even invented ! The inventor of Trousers, did not invent it solely for men. Trousers protect a woman's dignity, especially in windy situations. Men can also foolishly be banned from wearing long garment as some priests, reverends do today, if we are to literally apply this your interpretation of 'Deuteronomy 22:5 ! Secondly, we are not Hebrew, we are not of Jewish, nor are we of Abrahamic religions, we are Christians with a new Covenant - Blood of Jesus that establishes our Covenant with the Messiah Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins ! ( Matthew 26: 27-28). Christianity means followers of Christ and His teachings ! We are people of the new Covenant ! CHRIST never mentioned trouser are for men only either in all His teachings ! Why ? Because trouser never existed, and it wasn't an issue, as long you cover your nakedness and dress moderately, stop being like the pharisees, the sadducees, the Scribes, and elders, whom, Christ relentlessly rebuked as " Hypocrites ! Did Sis Linda or any Pastor offer to take him under their wing, counsel and pray TOTAL DELIVERANCE and hold him accountable or was he just thrown to the wolves and allowed to roam like a vagabond without any Shepherd and covering? You cannot force someone to do something and that is why we all have Free Will. At first the boy was doing good when he got saved but as Sister Linda said, they tried helping him and reaching out to him but the boy started making excuses later on and not showing up for conferences plus she continued warning him. Sister Linda tried so we can't blame her remember she also has work to do so we can't expect her to do everything.
