You might also like the book R.U.R. (Rossum's Universal Robots) by Karel Čapek too. This is how international word "robot" was invented by the author (being derived from czech word "robota" meaning labour or work). The name Rossum is also a partial wordplay on "rozum" meaning "reason" or "mind" in Czech.
@@janzizka9963 yeah "rabota" is "work" in macedonian my slavic lang and "razum" is "reason", I was aware of the origin of robot but not of that book/play I'll check it out thanks, absolutely loved the amount of Czech culture etc in HROT and fellow eastern europeans can relate to a ton of the setpieces n locations in the game as well, for me Czech is the hardest slavic language to understand probably, especially when spoken, but written I could still make out 50% of the basic sentences in HROT posters etc, awesome game, makes me wanna visit Prague again (been once with my highschool and loved it back then, bit too much of a "party city" vibe for me tho lol)
Seriously, bravo. Greatest brown game to come out this season. But for real, been anticipating this since I bought it in early access. Time to play through the whole thing again.
Oh this is just absolutely lovely. I've been keeping an eye on this ever since Civvie first mentioned it back in some round-up a while back, and the first Episode was absolutely great to play. Seeing this come to fruition, fully launching, is such a joy. Congratulations on release, and thank you so very much for what is clearly a labor of love. If you'll excuse me, I have to go play this again now that it's all available.
yo, not to be an aweful person, but THANKS for being one of the few indie FPS developers that worked on a game and delivered it on a reasonable time! I'm tired of buying or wishlisting a game and wait for YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS
Another one that ended its Early access relatively quickly was Cruelty squad. One that is kind of stressing me out is White Hell, there are only like 3 levels left to finish chapter 3, and I was like "oh, so this game is coming out soon from EA too?" but nope, apparently the creator is planning a fourth episode and I'm like "Oh..."
@@ellocojoncrazy3270 To be fair, Ultrakill has only been in Early Access since 2020, so a year after HROT started EA. Doesn't make it feel any shorter tho lol. As quick as HROTs turn-around was, if Ultrakill took an extra year it would still be on track.

As someone born in Czechoslovakia I can indeed confirm this is a very accurate depiction of our country and is at the level of a Netflix documentary when it comes to historical accuracy
Congratulations on releasing 1.0. I have to be honest, I couldn't wait to play it in full. I hope one days Coop and Multiplayer will be available too. Keep it up and can't wait to replay it once again, now as one full game :)
