2:13 You can clearly see him stopping at she said...and you can still hear his "playback" voice. So there's always playback additional to his voice and he just sings to it. But singers like him don't very often have a chance to decide they just have to sing with playback.

I noticed this and as someone who has never sang anything I was impressed with myself 😂 but I would suspect it’s because he’s dancing. One thing I know is it’s hard enough to talk and dance without sounding out of breath so can’t imagine trying to sing like that 🙃
