On the weekend commencing the 9th of February HS2 closed the M42 between Junction 6 and Junction 7 to demolish a bridge to make way for a new bridge that will take HS2 over the motorway just north of Interchange.

Will be interesting to see If much has changed in the last year. Just a shame that I'll be unlikely to get any drone footage.

No doubting the engineering expertise shown here and elsewhere on the truncated HS2 project. I hope the latest negotiations of the two mayors with private investors may come to something.

Here's hoping we get something like Stafford bypass+, using the HS2 alignment to Crewe but just with a different name.

Apologies if the sound was a bit bassy, I was experimenting with something to improve the sound, but it seems to have increased the bass.

Presumably the alternative road system in green on the map is now working. Never seen any drone footage of this section, expect its a no fly zone bc airport?

Yep, I drove on some of the new roads for the last video I made about Interchange. Unfortunately the new station is well within the no fly zone.

Cheers 😁. I just fancied making something and HS2 has sent me some footage, plus wanted to try experimenting with short 'news' feature to see how it would perform 🙂
