The cut-and-cover tunnel entrance is very clear at Burton Green. Also I never cease to be amazed at the amount of land taken either side of the line. The cutting one can see at 1min 15 seconds is very clear with its sloping sides. One assumes the land not taken then reverts to previous use. This reversion will take quite an effort in itself. The cynic in me tells me that what is called "landscape earthworks" is just a posh title for soil dumps they are too idle to move elsewhere !
