Great range tests on both those drones Dan, it's a shame the 720R started to toilet bowl out there just short of 3km away. It actually looked like it dropped altitude and possibly landed in that field just after the geofence warning on the app.
Yeah, unfortunately looks like the 720R is having the same issues as the other 720 models. I literally just fixed the broken arm last night. Will have it out for another round of testing in the next day or so. One thing I did notice when I had it open to replace the arm is the flight board on the 720R is labelled 720G which would explain we’re seeing these issues with this more recent model as it looks like the only difference really is the camera
@@Scot-land yeah I’m not surprised with the GPS issues it has. Tomorrow I’ll be releasing my follow up video where I repair it and take it out for another test flight. Again it was having some problems
There's a video on RU-vid of a person in England who takes his hs600 out to 3 miles i have no idea how he managed that distance i did leave a comment asking him but he never responded

That HS720R. You don't seem too worried. Do you expect HS to send you a free replacement ? Maybe you should have divided the Range in half. Half battery life out, half battery life to return. Did you look for the drone in the field where it appeared to be descending? Also, I see it only flew for 8 minutes before you got the battery warning. HS720R not that impressive after all.
Definitely don’t except Holy stone to send a replacement. Was able to get access to the field today and found it. I have a follow up video being uploaded right now
