I heard this song for the first time this morning at church. The words blew me away, Jesus giving His life for mine, I always knew this, but this song was special, it made it so very real. God bless the writers, singers and all who are blessed by this song. Thank you Jesus.
This is the type of dress code that will soon be found only in museums! We thank the Lord that he still has those that have not bowed to the idols of nakedness in the name of "freedom"
I concur ! It breaks my heart to see women walking around half naked. Especially in those God forsaken tights with everything showing it's a pandemic now, from the baby on breast to the old women .
His heart was broken, mine was mended He became sin, now I am clean The cross he carried bore my burden The nails that held him set me free His life for mine, his life for mine How could it ever be? That he would die, God's son would die To save a wretch like me What love divine, he gave his life for mine His scars of suffering brought me healing He spilled his blood to fill my soul. His crown of thorns made me royalty His sorrow gave me joy untold His life for mine, his life for mine How could it ever be? That he would die, God's son would die To save a wretch like me What love divine, he gave his life for mine He was despised and rejected, stripped of his garments and oppressed I am loved and accepted and I wear a robe of righteousness His life for mine, his life for mine How could it ever be? That he would die, God's son would die To save a wretch like me Like me What love divine, he gave his life for mine (for mine)
This song definitely uplifted me tonight! You have an amazing voice and most importantly a true gift from God! Continue to use it for his bidding! Simply awesome!
Where was this song hiding? I only became aware of it this year, and i have been into contemporary gospel music (including singing) for nearly 40 years
