hi y’all! here’s part 2 of a video i made months ago when there was only a few episodes out. can’t wait for the next season to come out, thanks for watching!
I know right? This would be the single most confusing show to watch. Taylor switches actresses halfway, so do Troy and Chad, but then they switch back... if you didn’t already know HSM, it would make no sense
I think this show is ironically great simply because not once does it ever bother slowing down, every single moment its constantly throwing in new plot points and characters with zero regard for narrative cohesion and I kind of love it for that.
I feel like the first ep is one of its weakest eps and that’s such a shame. I watched only the first episode with my sis and we both didn’t like it and refused to watch more, I’m so glad I kept going though cause the show gets so much better and I almost missed on a lot a great stuff!
I mean the tv series was quite good but I can’t help thinking about how weird it must have been to watch the final performance without context as an audience, you’d be so confused.
I have had NIGHTMARES of my shows going like that... so seeing the cast change 50 times and Ricky dramatically failing was so triggering for me... and I'm sure the audience hahah
“I’m flushing my homecoming dress down the toilet” “I think a rat is eating your protein bar” “Ryan..? Is that you?” “Can I get tickets?” *dances awkwardly* “I’m not the Troy you want” This show is great if you know what’s happening.
I think it would have been fine if everyone wasn't breaking character every 5 seconds. As someone who has been doing theater for several years now the things these kids do would basically solidify them NEVER BEING CAST IN ANOTHER SHOW. EVER.
This show reminds me more of glee and the office while watching i honestly forgot that this is all HSM like thats how good the show is it stands on its own
I thought the movies were…meh. Like I give them credit for launching Zac’s and Vanessa’s and Ashley’s and Corbin’s and Lucas’s careers, and I do like the music, but the plots were too basic for me. It was just Romeo and Juliet with high school cliques and a happy ending. But I absolutely adored this show, and I binged it in two days because I couldn’t put it down! So good, and now I’m obsessed with HSMTMTS content.
At least who were at least 5 or 6 like (at minimum) in 2006, watched the movies on Disney Channel when they got released and love them. I also loved the show and thought that it was a better bet than just reboot everything...
