HSP KUTIGER RALLY CAR - REVIEW 

I'm disappointed you included no driving footage I watched this video because I wanted to see how the brushes version of this RC car drives. In my opinion you can't have a credible review of an RC car without driving footage/impressions Your video is not bad, it's interesting, it's just not as described.

Just picked up the Traxxas Fiesta Rally... Looking over the specs on your model, think you got the better deal at least as far as power goes for the same exact price ($269). I have plans to drop a Hobbywing Max10SCT and 3200kV combo in mine where yours already comes equipped with that motor, but that's another $143. Ah wells, the way it goes. Wish you did a road test of your car however, would like to see how well it handles. Thank you for sharing this!

I got this car from Ebay for $200, and have about 20 tanks (plus break in) thru the car. It's not bad for a cheap little beater but it isn't blistering fast. I think it's better suited to on-road or packed dirt than real off road. Pros: ready to run out of the box. Add batteries, fuel, oil the air filter, and it's ready for break in. Factory set was pretty good for break in (I am at sea level) and easy to adjust from there. Fully adjustable suspension. Pull starter- you may or may not like these but for newer drivers I can see the appeal. Fairly tough, I have rolled it and hit a curb at speed without incident. The body drags a lot off road and has held up. Parts are readily available and the .18 motor is super common. Remote has very good range, much further than you really need for sure. Cons: The body needs holes cut for ventilation, so it will be less pretty than in the pictures once you actually run it. Same for the exhaust, you will need to make a cut or the body will melt. As designed, you have to remove the body every time you need to refuel or start the car. So stalls are highly annoying and I run slightly high idle to avoid accidental flame outs. You could cut the body for fuel and starting but then it certainly won't look very realistic. All the bolts on the pull start assembly came out during the first ten runs. They are very hard to access without removing the entire engine. Go thru and loc-tite everything before break in! I noticed the car picks up rocks and sticks that jam the steering and drive train rather easily. I may have to put some foam around the car to keep out debris because it happens a lot. Car runs way better without the body, which makes having to fuss with it every refuel/restart that much worse. (I haven't tested the water resistance of the car yet) Overall- for the price it's a nice little car. Definitely 'hobby grade' but a solid entry for that level. People new to nitro will appreciate the ease of getting this car up and running, but may find fussing with the body a turn off compared to an open buggy. With so few R/C rally events (and even less nitro ones) this car has limited competition applications and is really a local park beater. Great on asphalt, baseball diamonds, low grass, packed sand- it will struggle in deeper grass, larger gravel, or loose sand. Fast enough that it easily flips on asphalt in high speed turns. Worth a buy but see if you can score it under $200 with free shipping.

As far as I can tell this is the same thing as the Exceed Ace Tiger Rally Car sold on Nitrorcx(HSP is the OEM for Exceed so this makes sense) it also shares a ton of parts with the Exceed Sunfire buggy and Exceed Infinitive Monster Truck.
