Not everyone needs to hear your story, and in this video, I decided to be a little raw and vulnerable. I'm sharing with you what prompted me to star my SELF=LOVE JOURNEY, and as many of you know, I'm a Highly Sensitive Person, Introvert and and an Empath. Have you always been scared to be seen but wants to be seen? That was me. But now, I'm a show up queen. I show up for myself and for others because I started loving myself hard and I mean hard! I'm the master of starting over, of self love, of healing myself, of self help. You name it. I still stumble all the time of course but I've mastered how to manage my energy. I know who are energy vampires and how to avoid energy vampires using self-love technique I was talking about in this video. All the self love techniques in this video can be used in your personal life and work life. This is for you overwhelmed and exhausted Introvert, Empath and Highly Sensitive Person you!

I love your energy, it was so great to learn something new about you. I love that nowadays, people accept that taking care of yourself first is going to make you a better person/parent/partner/friends, colleague etc. I can see how my grandparents saw this as selfish, my parents don't see it as selfish but they also don't see it as important as it is. I see it as very important. I am very grateful that I live in this time and I understand the value of taking care of myself.

Hey Van, loved your story. You are right. "Help yourself 1st before you help others". Especially after a breakup; we need to heal and "self-love is not selfish". You need to learn to love yourself, learn your likes and dislikes while preparing yourself for the next adventure.

Wow, love the story. I can really resonate with what you say about learning about self-love. It’s easy to lose yourself and give up parts of you are in work or with your relationships with others. Remembering to honor and show up for ourselves is key for happiness and fulfillment. We cannot be at our peak state and really give to others unless we are filled up and thriving in our own lives. Thank you for sharing your story!! Matthew 22:39 "Love your neighbor as yourself." We are instructed to love ourselves. Somewhere along the way we see this as a selfish act but I believe God intended it to be a natural outpouring of who we are.
