I've had a marlin 60 sitting in the closet for many year not using it because the shells getting stuck with the slide, it is the most accurate 22 I've owned
Wow you are right, it really modernized the rifle. My stock on my rifle broke, I been looking for something like that. Thank you for the video. You have a great day.
Thank you for a great video calmly explaining and reviewing. It is very nice to get a good video without some loud idiot getting excited about tuning a screw and yelling
I like the old school myself. I love that old school feel and look. Mine was the silver one so I really appreciate that color. However if mine would to ever brake this would be my option, thanks for the video.
I have an older 60 I may refinish the stock . The adjustable butt stock is nice but I still prefer the original one. Your refinish looks great . Thanks for posting
You need a set of tech sights for that thing, unless you don't like military style aperture sights. So totally way better than the stock sights in every way. Rear mounts on the rail so you can get a better sight radius and they sit a half inch or so higher which is just right for me.
Wish there was better stocks for the marlin 60, convinces me to get a Carbon Fiber 3D Printer, its a great gun and especially if you want to use it for self defense compared to a AR 15 that has 5.56 green tip ammo that goes through cars and walls 😂 But dont get me wrong sometimes you need the AR 15 because the bullets wont go through a windshield if the type of caliber is too weak, just be careful to make sure you don't aim the bullet in a way where it goes through the cars windows to your neighbors house, in most cases people fail to do so and get sent to jail The only reason i don't like the stock is because you cant change the stock to a foldable pistol brace and theres no bottom or top rails to attach attachments on to or at least not good enough
For not much more $$$ you can purchase a tactical 22lr new. Was looking yesterday at an AK tactical for $180 new. Why spend an additional $150 for what amounts to just a different stock mount? Also the Marlin Model 60 is a CLASSIC I have had mine for over 40 years (it actually is a Glenfield) so why mess with a classic?
I have that exact same stock it's a 1977 model it also has a Marlin 4x32 scope I love it and was curious to see what stocks it could have I like this 22 rifle better than any of my other ones the 22 inch barrel and micro twist rifling in it make it deadly accurate
David Forteza . Theirs 2 different dovetails on the top depending on the year it was manufactured.. I have both old & new styles.. I purchased mine from M-Carbo.com.. I’ll try and find a video for ya. BBL..
It looks like there is a big hole on the top . Why doesn't the stock form to the metal of the gun ? It looks like it sets way down into the plastic from the top .
Great video! I really like a tube fed magazine semi auto rifle but outside The Model 60 I don't know what else to get and the damn 60 feels like a little kid's gun when trying to shoot with the iron sights! I really want one of these guns but they are very uncomfortable to shoot without a scope.
This product has ZERO availability. HuntingTactical doesn't appear to even be a legitimately operating company. Disappointing. It's a product I'd LOVE to get.
It looks really bad should of ordered a new wood stock the original must of had the grain wrong with a stock extension or but pad for the length problem
