Watching you tinker with stuff is just the greatest, i love this video, its my fave.(they could afford to add a lock mechanism for the x, y and z axis for games like minigolf to work)

Closing one eye whilst shooting throws off your depth perception. You should have both eyes open :)

Lada1208 The thing is though, at least for me, I could get the money required with not too much effort, but no one should INVEST in this since there will be new VR devices in no time, which are probably improved over these ones. So I think we should wait a couple years in order not to have our money wasted.

Hey Martyn, looking through the vr store and found Skyworld. looks like something you would like. You should try it. Also Could you either make a video, or just answer here, which is better, in your opinion: HTC Vive, or the Oculus Rift? im thinking on buying one of them, currently leaning towards Vive, but Rift is muuuch cheaper thank you for making awesome entertainment

After being very Sceptical of VR after seeing the Oculus, But after seeing even SOME of the features the Vive offers it's really getting somewhere however i don't think i'll ever buy one until we're past these 'gimmick Mini Games'

There are a lot of new vr games you can try on steam now. You could try things like audioshield or the baseball game. Subnautica would also be cool.

Both work with the same games. SteamVR supports the rift and you can play oculus games with Revive. so either works out the same IMO

Closing one eye to aim wouldn't work in VR, because your perspective doesn't actually change.

+Richard “Firebug” Merrick Sure it does. Each eye in a VR headset is shown a different image, otherwise there'd be no stereo depth perception. For there to be any depth perception, it also means that each eye sees something slightly different, just like it does in reality.

Except that guns and stuff in VR don't shoot the bullets from the camera like most monitor games. If they did then what you're saying would be true, but no VR games (with motion controllers) do that because it feels silly. The projectile comes from the gun so lining it up with an eye does work in VR like a gun sight IRL.

yeah i understand but it seems a bit like a project spark, like even the physics other games support better than the ones on this which is a bit disappointing.
