both are same but this one is lil'bit better .. on udemy there are lot of courses like basic intermediate and advanced so this one is better in my opinion.. i don't know about your opinion but I suggest you that you should watch this channel's vids his teaching tooo good for all the levels so i think this one is better and this one is for free.. KEEP CODING!!!

If your live server is not automatically refreshing , follow these steps : 1) go to vs settings 2) search for auto save and select after delay 3) set delay time to 600 ms (by default its 1000ms) Now your changes in the code will apply automatically in the webpage opened on your browser.

Hi harry, My chrome browser is not getting updated simultaneously as i am writing code in VS code. Each time i right click on vs code to 'open with live server' it is getting opened in a new tab each time in chrome browser.

In this video we learn how to install visual studio code (Vs code). We learn different settings of VS code. like how to add zoom in and out using (cntrl + mouse) How to change default keyboard shortcuts. And we change keyboard shortcuts of add similar codes down and we choose shortcut (cntrl + D) We also learn how to open folders in Vs and how to create new folders and files in Vs At last we install live server. Liver sever helps that when we change any code in html it changes it on our display of website on an chrome browser

To create boiler plat, if after typing exclamatory symbol Emmet suggestion is not coming then alternately you can use control + space and then check mark HTML sample. This worked for me . Just make sure HTML is selected in "select language mode" on bottom blue bar at Right side

If your vs code doesn't automatically update your website after you make changes with live server, go to settings>auto save> set to afterDelay, then set aut save delay to 600.

If live server not working, do two steps. Step1: Make sure to create the index file in a folder then open it in vscode. Step2: Press ALT+L+O . Hope it helps.

For anyone who is unable to process with live server, it works as when you change any line of the code, you need to save it using ctrl+s command and then without re-loading or anything you will see the changes on the browser. Hope this helps. Happy Learning.

For those who still haven't been able to get their live server automatically refreshed after you write some code in VS, you can try: Settings---->search autosave----->set Files: Autosave to "afterDelay"

For people who have tried everything as per comments and are still not able to use the live server, try this: Modify the environment variables in your system. Add C:\Windows\System32 if it's missing and try again. Also, make sure your default browser is set to Chrome from "null". Took me a long time to figure it out, thought to share! :)

Live server is not directly responding to the changes made in the HTMK code , because of which without refresh the changes are not visible. You should also give solution for this Harry brother, anyways , many in the comments have answered about this issue.

I have a trash pc with 2gb ram and a bad processor and it's working flawlessly. So i5 8th gen 8gb ram or ssd is not really necessary

live server option isnt showing up even after reloading. Besides, an error pops out everytime I open VS Code "Extension host terminated unexpectedly" Also, I have reinstalled VS Code itself several times but all in vain .....Please help!!!
