Can I point out that people always cut off after Stoick says "You're not my son" and never include the bit after it where you see him stumble back and lose his composure for a moment, he was never okay with that decision, but as chief he had to make it, how could he show himself to the village again if he accepted his son committing the highest level of treason short of probably actively trying to kill Stoick, but it shows later again how quickly he was to say sorry and try to keep his son safe by telling Hiccup he doesn't have to fight. Makes it even sadder in the second film when he dies, he always loved Hiccup no matter what happened, and yet he knew showing it would cause so many more problems for Hiccup in the end. Hell we see it in the start of the film he went to fight a dragon with just his hands to protect Hiccup, he didn't even hesitate to put himself between a Nightmare and his son, even if he could easily have died there, Hiccup was more important to him. and I wrote a paragraph but still worth it.
Astrid: The fact that it wasn’t even his(Hiccups) dominant hand. Ruffnut: Hiccups left-handed?! Me: What😳 *Looks it up* Holy sh*t. It *wasn’t* his dominant hand..🤯

Vikings don't say unholy, or holy. They're not religious in Christian beliefs. They believe in Valhalla, and the Pegan god's and goddesses. Just wanted to point that out 4:25
