rainslasher r5 is almost the same as redhorn r1 in terms of vape dmg, i've tested it

Yes, there is. In traditional Team, I ranked Furina slightly above Yelan, and XQ at bottom, and Rosaria above Kaeya. For Xianyun, I'll rate both Yelan and XQ higher than Furina, and Kaeya above Rosaria. All of this was from how consistent they can enable reaction to Diluc. Yes, even if Diluc won't be able to Vape 24/7 in Furina, Her DPS can kinda justify it, but as usual I value Diluc DPS over Team DPS more. So the ranking would be something like this I think 1. Yelan 2. Double Hydro (Furina + Yelan) 3. Kaeya 4. XQ 5. Furina 6. Rosaria

@@cavernman4739 If you aren't spamming plunge too fast Furina is just better. More damage, higher damage plunges, better dmg off-field. Also, she's the only one who can make vape dmg do more than a traditional melt proc. Kaeya is def not better. Rosaria is infact better than Kaeya. Kaeya without c6 still has to deal with ICD, which is bad. You can get a max of like. 3-4 melt procs unless the enemy is huge. Rosaria gives you 7 minimum. Both in abyss, against most bosses, etc, I've always found rosaria to be better than Kaeya, add to that, her crit rate addition really helps with Redhorn.

Probably C1, since it provide a universal 15% DMG Buff against Enemy with > 50% HP

If you are running Yelan, make sure to always cancel your NA, even C0 Yelan should be able to maintain 100% Hydro for your Plunge as long as your N1 doesn't do Vape. If you are running Furina, yes it is to be expected, since Her application is slow and will get removed after one Vape. The only solution is doing plunge slowly. For Ruin Serpent, it's RNG unfortunately. It has one pattern with considerably longer DPS window (one where it swinging itself twice)

Yes it could, and It is still insanely powerful compared to traditional 2 Hydro. Plunge spam is currently Diluc strongest Team. To the point a still under powered Xianyun can carry the Team DPS of Diluc + Support Yelan / Kaeya to the level of full Powered Melt / Vape (C6R1 Kaeya /C2R1 Yelan + C2 Kazuha) So yes, it will be worth your while, even for the long run.

Technically speaking Lost Prayer is better from the higher base Atk, but requires a massive investment on Xianyun to make it practical (ER) in continuous setting. Fav Codex is weaker, but will save your life of Her (and the Team) Energy Problem

Rainslasher is stronger at base, but Beacon can outperform it with proper stats.

If you can Vape all your Plunge, Yes. Else, Mailed Flower is better.

In vape with Xianyun, R5 Rainslasher is the best weapon after serpent Spine, even better than R1 Redhorn.

I tested EM Unforged (which is inferior to Redhorn in Bennett Team) against Rainslasher and it has identical DMG (few Thousands Higher at full stacks) Considering my EM build is also significantly worse than the Build used for Rainslasher (20 lower CrD and less Atk) the gap would be even wider, so I assume the same should apply to Redhorn.

@@cavernman4739 yea. I have done calcs on various investment levels. The EM and DMG% from Rainslasher increases Xianyun's additive DMG buff as well. And any such multiplicative factors are really broken for Xianyun, so much so that even with EM Sands, the EM weapons (Rainslasher and Mailed Flower) perform better, and even Outdmg WGS and Unforged 90% of the time. The best weapon for Diluc, Gaming and any claymore user for such a team is R5 serpent Spine due to the big DMG% followed by R5 Rainslasher and Redhorn being slightly behind. You can try checking with the optimiser for your specific case.

@@cavernman4739 I'm confused as well, but it's likely because the enemy is magu kenkki? I think it swirls hydro on itself once chile applies his mark. Diluc then gets to do 3 vape plunges.

​@@jjms7167I remember seeing this video. If I remember correctly, it was Childe's C4 causing Riptide to apply Hydro from off-field. I'm really interested in how that team would play, dancing between forward vaping Childe's Burst and reverse vaping Diluc's plunges sounds fun.
