So so wish I could see him in concert!! He is absolutely my favorite artist/performer. Just watched several episodes of The Singer 2020 and am stunned by him every single time. He is AMAZING!
Hi Matt! So nice to have you back and reacting to Hua Hua! As always very much enjoyed your analysis. Although he's written Arrival before Sacred Tree, in Singer 2020, Hua's decided to give us more hope and sang Sacred Tree first described as destruction/tsunami/environment issues, Arrival 2nd (rebirth), New World 3rd. The lyrics of these songs are so deep and thoughtful, we would miss out so much if not for Hua Chenyu English Subs :) Thank you so much, looking forward to your next reaction!
I'm so glad you're doing these videos again! I'd love to see your interpretation of Hua's Seven Personalities. I'll be looking forward to your next video!
Thank you, I'm glad to be doing them 😀 Seven Personalities is one of the Hua performances that I'm getting the most requests for, so that's definitely noted!
I really like how you take the time to interpret the meaning on Hua's song. He really puts a lot of thought into his composing and particular in lyrics, so it's nice that a reactor shares what he feels the song means. You give a great perspective on Hua's performances and his interpretation.
Interesting thought. Hua’s music gives us so much imagination. There is no right or wrong when we try to interpret his music. By Singers 2020, he switched the order by [Sacred tree] then [Arrival]. People will interpret like [Sacred Tree] = Doomsday and [Arrival] = New Born/Reborn following episode [A New World] ❤️🌹🌹
This song has a twin called ’Arrival‘, also written by Hua. They are calling for enviromental protection. Here are translated lyrics (provided by fans): I fear the murky sky Crashing rogue waves have left everything in shambles All are anxious I fear the bone-chilling cold So many lives but none are spared Everything is out of control Crash and cold... I am fearful of flashing lightening and deafening thunder The exile of adults and the entrapment of children They all cling to each other I am fearful of darkness and pain Stepping on the ruins, I am ensnared deeper and deeper All in vain Crash and cold... I drown in the clamor of thousands of people Tears can no longer keep the sorrow covered Never give up Never give up I sense the tsunami's desolation Demolish this prison of thousands of sounds Never give up Never give up * I drown in the clamor of thousands of people Tears can no longer conceal sorrow Never give up Never give up *I sense the tsunami's desolation Demolish this prison of thousands of sounds Never give up Never give up I fear the murky sky Crashing rogue waves have left everything in shambles All are anxious I fear the bone-chilling cold So many lives but none are spared All are out of control - The End -
thank you for this reaction :) Love the scene and all the technology used for this Mars Concert 2019.. it was incredible ! You will really enjoy 7 Personnalities, cant wait to hear your reaction . Have a good week-end!
Hi Matt! Nice seeing you again with HuaHua! I hope you can react to 7 personalities pretty soon, would love to hear your interpretation on it! Hope you're doing well and can't wait to watch another HuaHua reaction soon ❤️
Hey Mihaela, thanks for watching! I'm doing well thank you, and I hope you are also doing good. 7 Personalities is one of the Hua performances that I'm getting the most requests for, so I''ll be looking into that for sure!
Wow .. Glad to see you back Matt. Always love your deep analysis, I don't even realized it's 26 mins 😅 What you said about having control is interesting. I've been wondering for quite some time whether Hua practise stoicism. Looking at the world with a bird's eye view, detached but at the same time fully engaged. Letting go of things one can't control and focus on those one can. Those are some of the most prominent stoic virtues. Anyway, have a great day and stay safe! 🌸
Thank you, I'm glad to be back! I myself did not realize how long I had been reacting for when I was reacting haha. Time just flew by on this one, but I'm glad you enjoyed it despite the duration!
You should try reacting to some of Hua Chenyu's duets. They're pretty incredible; especially since most of them were songs he had only 24 hours to arrange before performing them. Here's a link to my favorite; his remake of an old Chinese folk song "Evening Bell at Nanping HIll", with Su Shiding: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GvKzmSUOo88.html
I saw from an interview where he said he got the inspiration of this song from one morning when he looked out of his window and saw all the high raise buildings around him. He thought of how mankind has changed the surface of the Earth but also starting to cause all the environmental issues. He imagined one day nature will show its force and a giant tree will break ground and grow so big its root will topple the concrete forest and collapse all the buildings. Thus the name of Sacred Tree or God Tree
Sacred tree, god tree, tree of knowledge, tree of life and the Yggdrasil from my heck of the woods. Its a very ancient concept throughout time and space shared by humans and their various belief systems.
Here for you Matt and those interested, a 3 minutes interview of Hua after he sang God Tree on Singer, it's translated by Hua Fansubs facebook.com/Huamazing/videos/215628656383118/
i think you have been reacting to a lot of his uhm darker performances, you have so much more that you could react, try 'Heaven' and 'seek'. the darkest art piece is cancer imo. 'I don't care' is also a good choice. so many more that you could react to and all of them are different and bring meanings
