I will go there just for the colours of the water! The city is very colourful. I like the colour schemes of the souvenirs and woven products. So pretty.
I always use a local guide wherever I go, they are so informative. So does this video. Grasshopper sounds really interesting, I bet it is full of protein. Thank you for sharing!
Yes I have read up on protein content and here in the USA they make grasshopper health bars but eating them from a most likely rich soil area like Oaxaca is probably more nutritious. I eat black ants for zinc and other benefits. Oaxaca appears so beautiful.
The colors are gorgeous! They make everything look soooo alive! After what we’ve been thru and continue to go through, I need a place like Huatulco in my life ❤️
Visiting in a few weeks! I heard most beaches are private, only accessible to hotel guests. Is that true? We're staying in an airbnb. Any recommendations? TIA!
Love Mexico, and we would love to explore more of the country! There are so many Aztec words that we assume Spanish, and glad to learn that Huatulco is one of the words. Not sure that I'd drink/eat the scorpion inside the liquor, however, it would be very interesting to see that. Pretty area and an awesome ATV Adventure!
Oooo so colourful, even the church! And the beaches are stunning! We have never heard of Huatulco. Great that there are some budget options there even if it is a resort town!
Not so sure about the drink with the scorpion... The pools at the hotels look great, would love a dip! What a cool thing to do, taking a tour on those quads.
Lovely spot. We stayed for a few weeks more up north at Mazunte. The coast is beautiful on the Pacific side and the Mexicans are just amazing. Warm, kind and so entrepreneurial. We loved it. Mezcal and mole... we have to go back!
Oh is ATV rides available?wow would like that and as described it is a real experience and the best option to learn the culture of mexico.thanx for sharing
Wow, why has this place not been on my radar? It looks amazing!! Beautiful water views, quaint downtown, colorful gifts and textiles, yummy food, and even a bit of wildlife to enjoy ;p Thanks for the tour. Would love to visit when we can travel again :)
I really enjoyed the overview of this area. You provided options for various places to stay which is great because not everyone is an all inclusive person or a budget traveler, etc. And did you like the grasshopper?
I have always wanted to visit Oaxaca, but haven't had a chance yet. Huatulco looks so gorgeous. How were the grasshoppers? Haha. I would love to stay at Villa Blanca!
