@@vili3200 they're not just banned in some countries, they also can't use us related high tech, tsmc/samsung chip manufacturing and while they're able to use Qualcomm and mediatek chips, 5g and Google play services are missing from their phones
I have the original freedbuds 1 and they are Amazing! I have been using them now for more than one year, Heavy use. The charging time, the connectivity, the sound Quality , the ANC ... All these things are spot on.
Give the Freebuds Pro 2 a try then ;) Yeah, they are quite expensive at the moment, but they're worth it. The soundstage is wider. The bass is more impressive. The sound is clearer. No more fiddeling to get the Freebuds out of the case. They enhanced nearly everything, that annoyed me on the first ones.
Really hoping they make a Freelace Pro 2. I use mine all day every day and the 14.2mm drivers sound very nice indeed. But an updated version would be right up my alley.
I thought I was the only one the freelance is the best but, I've had mine for some years and haven't been kind to them so theyve been very low lately in sound, and they don't seem to sell them on the huawei uk store. But tollaly agree,
Are you sure you don’t have the silver blue model? I have the silver frost originals and they don’t have the blue shade that your pair seem to have in the video :)
The first FreeBuds Pro are probably still the best earbuds around when it comes to features. The multi device connection is UNBEATABLE. I hope these successors will be similar or better. Oh, the ear tip test is a gimmick LOL
Hi, bearded one punch man. Thanks for reviewing this tws. Loved this tws, as they have great mic. Also try the spinfit c series tips and use them for your tws.
Tried the freedbuds pro, they had incredible noise cancellation and the awareness mode was just mind blowing. The buds have like a short and subtle vibration when you press them, pretty cool. Had to return them because 1: without a Huawei device you can’t get the full features including EQ, which I think is very dumb. 2: The right earbud stopped charging. Currently using the AirPods Pro, they just work, so yh. AirPods cancel lower bass noise, they won’t cancel out anything from mids to highs, unless you crank the music up. The Huawei’s did better.
Most of these are true in fact but the AI Life app is compatible with all Android smartphones not just Huawei devices and as for the EQ I think any Android device will do just as long as the AI Life app is installed
@@waynesia1833 Update, I got the new Freebuds Pro 2 and they have the EQ option. The Freebuds Pro I had at the time did not provide EQ settings, this may have been included in a recent update but I no longer have it so can't say.
@@AOD00000 The Airpods are ok, nothing new, they just work. Got the Freebuds Pro 2, takes a while to tweak the EQ but I've got them sounding devine! They're very smart too, the auto noise cancelling can adjust the noise levels, if people are talking or if there is strong wind it will increase the noise cancelling, it can also detect a car noise and reduce the noise cancelling to make you aware, but you can choose ultra noise cancellation which just cancels everything. I prefer the noise cancelling on the Huawei compared to the Airpods as they have less of the vacuum effect, but that's personal. Oh! And being able to connect to two devices is amazing! It switches so seemlessly
How would you compare these to the wf xm4s? I currently have these and the sound quality is second to none but they're so uncomfortable after a short amount of time. They give me serious ear pain
Hi!! I am an iPhone user. Should I get the freebuds pro 2 or the 6i? Do you think there’s a lot of difference in sound quality and microphone? thanks!!
I bought the Freebuds Pro a few weeks ago brand new for £60, these seem very similar so unless you listen to high quality music on your phone I wouldn't bother with these and look for a deal on the older version, perfect for general streaming. The older version also has dynamic ANC, it's not new on this version. The battery life sounds a bit worse, probably due to the dual driver and high quality codec. It wasn't mentioned in the review but I assume the new version still has multipoint? The older version does and it is essential for me so I can connect them to my work laptop for Teams calls and my phone to listen to music and personal calls at the same time.
@@kornar there are many better sounding true wireless headphones. The freebuds pro sound horrible when the ANC is turned off and quite compressed/unbalanced when turned on.
These look good but how much better are these Freebuds Pro 2 ~$190 compared to the Freebuds Pro ~$70 now (cheapest discounted price I could find for either.) I have the Redmi AirDots3 Pro and they are doing a decent enough job so maybe I'll just wait till next year to grab these for half price.
Hi there, don't know if you'll reply to this as this is an old review, but in case you do, how do these compare to the Soundcore Liberty 4nc and Freebuds Pro 3?
Hi spurt I've been watching your review of Huawei 4 buds and Huawei 4i, I don't like earphones/buds with the little rubber on the earbuds I prefer it without, if I buy the 4i and remove the rubber pads would they be like original air pods
I've had similar ear buds a few times but my two problems were the piece that goes into my ear was sharp around the edge even with the silicone covers on them and they were all too big for my ear canals.
Interesting. I had the opposite experience. FreeBuds Pro where the ones that did not have that issue in contrast to a lot of Sonys. In anyway using aac its a bit better using ldac it is a bit weaker but offers less compression
awesome review👍🏽 I have the Huawei freebuds pro and love them 🙌🏽 the I would love you to reply me on is. I've got the right ear and my friend has got the left ear. but the person on the line can only hear me with the right ear but not the other person with the left ear they cannot hear. can you do that with a new one where the person can hear you on both ears
@@lltechview thanks bro it's awesome you coming back to me if you no of any that does it let me know and send the link. Big up your self 👍🏽🇯🇲 🇬🇧 sorry about Boris Johnson these old fogies don't know how to have a good time. Party Party Party 🎉
A good advice! Based on many years of experience, it is very important to blow your nose at least every half hour to hear the best quality! Seriously, try it and you'll agree!
So apart from the cheap look, the crap app, the flickering ANC, the not very good mic sound, the wind noise, the big case and the average battery life.. they destroy the AirPods. I think I'll stick to my Sony's
@@EmreY25 I was judging based on what Spurt said. His review wasn't exactly screaming "AirPods destroyer" In fact, he mentions several areas in which they are inferior. So the title is pretty much clickbait. Or just Apple hate. Either way, it's questionable behaviour. And did you actually watch the video or did you just come here to defend a purchase you made?
@@LosPompadores @Yves Cooreman I did watch the vid. Also I don't own any Freebuds Pros 2, I do own own Freebuds Pros 1 and tried Airpod Pros. The sound quality of the Freebuds pro + bass are just superior. ANC and transparency mode are on par with Apple's and I assume the Freebuds Pro 2 are better if not on par with the first Freebuds Pro. Other than that, yeah I agree, the review didn't touch much on it being an Airpods destroyer.
So how do they work with iPhones? Is the App Store app also out of date? How does AAC codec work? If you are going to label something as AirPod Destroyer you really need to demo them with an iPhone. I genuinely cannot imagine any Android phone user buying AirPods. But there are plenty of other tws buds that can beat the AirPods, such as Liberty 3 pro. But at least reviewers of those demo them on an iPhone.
Do they fall out of your ears when you sweat? I had the freebuds pro and sound was amazing but when running for 10mins my ears get sweaty and one of them straight on falls from my ear every 1 min or so. Tried all tips and couldn't get it fixed so I got samsung buds pro which sound worse but don't fall off when running
wow, thought that the box was very 70s plastic, until you took that silver-ish hideous blink-blik sprayed plastic buds out. Seriously off-putting design, so no matter how good, I'll avoid.
@@vili3200 I wouldnt say they are the best , because I have a few abit better but not so far diffrent , but for sure they in top 5 best earbuds I ever listen to , airpods not even in the list of good sound quality in my book
@@vili3200 momentum 3 , devialet germini , huawei freebud pro ,sony wf 1000 xm4 , klipsch T5 II , and even the samsung buds pro 2 ( i dont like it that much but sure ...its better than apple )
@arunkrishna43 freebuds are way worse than airpods. I threw them away and bought airpods2. I will never change for anything else. Even using them with an Android phone is not making them worse than any other pair of earbuds. If you have money, go for airpods! You will not regret
One of the worst Huawei company I ever seen , such a poor customer service, I been suffering for last 6 month under warranty phone still not fixed , ever agent and manager lies to you ,not recommended at all please don’t waste your time and money on this *** Huawei , we want 📵 this in UK As in USA
AI Life does not know LDAC because of android 13. If u have android 13 LDAC is not working!!! That voice HD must be Smart HD in the app. Only on Android 12 and before works. So if u have pixel u listen tidal, on AAC. Come on Huawei. Make it happend!
