You are missing the point... the glasses let to listen to your environment perfectly because it does not block your earing at all. Earbuds, even open ear ones, dont do that. This device is not for me but would be perfect for bikers, cyclists, jogers and other people that do other outdoors sports where listening to your environment is important.
It's sunglass first then other feature are plus point for you so that you were sunglass in sunshine area but you can hear music and communicate with other by microphone
I think they have nailed it. Beautiful casing which will charge the glass. I think they should come out with frames which too we can use as regular spectacles. Any way nice.

Well the release of these snuck up on us. Amazing tech but I’m unsure who the target audience is for these, I’m in the UK so sunglasses is only for a few months a year. For me they will only be a great holiday gadget. A chromatic lens or a prescription lens option would open the market up to many more ppl
So cool, I love this new tech idea! Would love to know if they pair as good with any other Android phone besides Huawei. Probably just works through bluetooth but still I would like to check. Anyways, nice video!
You can, but you can't do software updates, since on Huawei phones it will detect the device and software updates will be available in the Bluetooth section.

It’s a hearing aid with sunglasses. The music part is like the Ocular hearing aid. Protects your eyes and allows you to hear. Perfect, so what do we do during the night?
No talk about cristal quality ?.. it is polarised ? Have blue light filter , glasses are actually good for gaming ? ; read ? Etc .... anyway nice interesting product and video.
An excellent review for the device. Disappointed that there is no display on the lenses. Can imagine the funny looks people would get having a phone call without any buds/headphones! However I'm sure it was the same when headsets became a thing
It's not just to control volume, it's headphones and glasses in one product, so if you already wear glasses frequently it eliminates the need for headphones.
So you could use these things backwards considering the lenses do nothing. So why not just make some kind of head strap that goes around the back of your head. So that you can wear normal glasses.
Can you control the music on your phone even if it's not coming through the glasses? I could see myself using these while driving and being able to control the music my phone is playing over the car's system.
Every time I hear smart glasses I think of glasses that display something on the lenses. These here just are the same thing as wireless earbuds but instead it's a 2-in-1 with having sunglasses with audio.
they should really start targeting business people by releasing a version where there is a screen on the lens like google glasses. but focusing on business perspective such as stock ticker. yeah.. while you're listening to music there is a ticker so you can monitor the stock market.
