In this video, we'll show you how to replace the LCD screen of your Huawei P20 Pro yourself. In addition, we'll gonna show you how to replace the battery.

I would like to know if your tutorial is for dual sim model or single sim, because I have just now a open Huawey P20 Pro single sim without back cover to replace its battery. Every part of model in your tutorial is the same of mine, except the sim holder: my is for 1 sim and your for two. I suspect that my P20 Pro is also double sim and that it is sufficient to replace the holder. What do you think about ?

Hello, where can I buy the loudspeaker flex cable/small mainmoard mentioned at 7:13? All the loudspeaker parts I find don't have it attached.

Hello, sorry, we don't offer this cable in our shop. But it can be transferred from the old smartphone when replacing the loudspeaker.

@@panos_kosto The original Huawei P20 Pro loudspeaker that we offer in our webshop does also not include this cable. It is not part of the loudspeaker. Maybe you can ask a repair shop to solve this problem. Sorry, that we could not help you in this case. Good luck with the repair!

Ich habe den Display meines P20 Pro reparieren lassen und jetzt funktioniert die Front Kamera nicht mehr. Sowohl die originale Kamera App als auch alternative Kamera Apps erkennen die Front Kamera nicht mehr. Habt ihr dafür eine Lösung?

Hallo, wenn du das Gerät professionell reparieren lassen hast, kannst du den Fehler ja einfach bemängeln und von der Werkstatt beheben lassen. In solchen Fällen sollte man zuerst einmal prüfen, ob die Kamera korrekt am Mainboard angeschlossen wurde. Dazu muss das Gerät natürlich noch einmal geöffnet werden. Nach dem Entfernen des Antennen-Moduls kommt man schnell an die Front-Kamera heran, um den Anschluss zu prüfen. Viel Erfolg und liebe Grüße vom REPEDIA-Team

Hello, yes, it is possible to replace the touch id without replacing the whole screen. Unfortunately, we do not have a tutorial for this step because we do not offer touch id for this model in our webshop. Good luck with the repair!

I guess there's no way to replace the glass only? Mine is cracked, but touch screen still works perfectly. Also, can I pay you to do the repair for me? 😂

Hi Anthony, I think professional repair shops can replace the glass only. But we do not offer a repair service. In most cases, you will find complete LCD screens for this model (oftentimes incl. the battery). So it is much easier to replace the whole LCD screen. Unfortunately, we do not offer only the glass in our webshop. We always try to show how to repair different devices by yourself in the most easiest way to prevent involving a repair service.
