04:37 - I wish there was more information about the e-sim instead of a dull phrase. This is exactly what I was looking for. Not common features that are also found in older models. We are already familiar with them. But e-sim is a new thing. It's a great feature for anyone who leaves their phone at home for a run and still knows all the incoming calls and messages and can answer them when needed.
I have a gt2 and it's amazing! I have been using it since last year and its still good as new. I charge it once in like 7 to 9 days depending on the use and it's good to go. The gt3 must be even better.
Hi, would like to ask how's the battery life if compatibility between Huawei watch 3 pro with iOS phones? As the Huawei official page stated that: a) The smart mode in typical scenarios - The Watch 3 Pro gives around 5 days of battery backup when connected to an Android device and 2.5 days back up with iOS. b)Ultra-long battery life mode - It provides 21 days battery backup when the watch when connected to iOS and Android.
Hi Lim! Can you show more examples of watchfaces and AOD? Also, can you show some examples of downloaded apps in action? I haven't seen that on any RU-vid channel yet. Please be the first!
Hey man! There's just too many watchfaces on the app. Also there are paid ones which you can buy. I think altogether there are more than 100 watchfaces! 😮
Can the notification of the message be set so that when a message is received, it will NOT pop up on the watch but vibrate to inform the wearer then the wearer can open up the message on the watch later to read the message? The Android Wear OS platform allows this but the old Huawei Health OS for GT 2 Pro does not allow this function.
Hey Andy, I guess you're referring to turning off "Display Light Up Upon Notifications". Unfortunately that feature is not available on the Huawei Watch 3 Pro.
How many always on displays does it have? watch gt2 has ONLY 4-5 if i remebmer corectly! a reason to buy a watch in this price is to have plenty of AODs to choose from.
@@Kaz_vw i agree, but would it make a difference? Gt2pro is actually smooth with 32mb, so I dont see justification here. And yes, Im using it for 1yr+. I also had comparison with Samsung S3 watch as well that workesld nearly same with much more ram. Still, its ram change, thats cheapest component and not justifying almost double price of GT2pro
@@Pryszczoskor As far as I can see, changes also include the skin temperature sensor, dual GPS, 60hz display, 1000 nits brightness, the scrolling digital crown is also an expensive add-on. Plus that pesky eSim really spikes up the price. The GT-series is about fitness tracking. The watch 3 is an actual smart watch.
Can you change battery in this when the original will crap out in lets say 2 years? Also does it work 100% with all the features out of the box with a non huawei device? Without downloading additional software?
Not sure about the battery part - but in terms of working right out of the box, you'll definitely need to use the Huawei Health app to ensure a seamless experience. For Android you can expect 100% of the features. It's quite similar to the previous GT2 series in terms of functionality.
Can someone please tell me if the Huawei gt3 pro can be paired to a Samsung galaxy s21 and will the heart and fitness, call, texts, music apps still work. Looking to buy one for Christmas but NOT if I can't use all the above apps.
It's a nice-looking watch with some cool features. However, I can't justify the massive price difference when comparing it to my GT2 pro, which I bought last October for RM1099 and still looks and works great. I'll pass. Appreciate your review.
Does the watch have 'find my phone' feature like Apple Watch? I often misplace my phone in my house and the APPLE watch has a feature to trigger my phone to ring so that I can locate my phone. I find this very useful. Does the HW watch have something similar?
Does it duplicate steps from watch and phone in the Huawei Health app if you are using both devices at the same time? I carry phone and watch often and it shows combined steps in the Huawei Health app thus messing up my tracking?
@@LimReviews thanks anyway i bought a watch 3 pro ans i notice the firmware is not updating to the latest firmware and i couldnt use the skin Temp..any idea how to get the latest firmware
I was wondering about “payment” with that watch. Does it have NFC or possible to add your bank card so you can pay with the watch when you’re out and running ? And can you connect Bluetooth devices such as earbuds etc ?
Yes u can connect Bluetooth head phones NFC is there but it's working with android only as of now for payments. App name is virtual cards. If you are iphone user I don't recommend.
It is a nice watch, but not for the price, it is a way too much. The price should be max 300 dollars, then I would buy it. Now it is better to buy the Huawei Watch GT2 for 170 bugs, this is a right price for the Huawei watch and it is also a nice watch.
Very overpriced. What is special about it then other smartwatches who cost around 200-300 euro. For example Samsung watch 3 and you get ECG and Blood Pressure. Huawei start to be greedy in this times when they are pushed away by Google. Not worth more then 200-300€ not 600€.
