Love it that you also shown the app. Most review does not include or does not even mention the phone app. A badly designed app can make or break a smartwatch, no matter how good it is.
This is by far the best alternative for Android. HR tracking and fitness is eight up there with apple, which is the perfect snartwatch and benchmark as far as accuracy goes. The GTS PRO beats any other Android alternative out there. Had one of the longest battery life, and beats Samsung by a long way. Weaknesses are less storage memory available 4gb, wereas many others are 16gb storage However if your into more of the fitness tracking, and everyday fitness use this is the one to get. Want an smartwatch for apps go for something else
0:48 Nothing compares to the Huawei GT series in design and build. I own a GT 2 Pro and the only criticism is the lack of Huawei support for watch faces in Canada! Great review, thx.
The watch faces in the mainland of China are infinite I just downloaded 4 new free ones today after a year of owning the GT 2. Always new ones and if you are willing to spend 1-3 dollars you can get amazing faces
@@marieb.7082 I get wechat messages on it which is great. It has map apps and some games more are being added although in Chinese so. I wouldn't want to text or talk on my watch so it is more than enough and the battery life is more than worth the trade. 5-7 days full charge is insane!
No comment about notifications? It’s one of the first uses of a smartwatch! Can you fully read a long notification, can you reply at anything? And the calls, can you reply with an sms?
Hi, I just bought the gt3 pro a couple of days ago. You can read a long message and reply with pre installed short messages or emojis. You can also add custom short messages thru the health app. There's no keyboard on the watch. As for emails, it only shows a very short part of it. When called, you can choose between picking up or replying with short pre installed messages. NFC and ECG is not supported in my country (Belgium) which is a shame . Apart from that there's no company that makes such premium watches like Huawei.
@@tmr2757 ECG is still available in my region, Indonesia, but not for NFC. It is only leather strap available. I really want that titanium strap, but it's almost impossible to have here. (Same shame) 😅
Hi mate, great review. But what about jogging? Do I really need a smartphone with me or just a watch? it says that the watch has a gps but if i have to take a phone, then what is this gps for? Also what about the NFC payments? Huawei has it in the spec's but does it really work?
Hello ! Thank you for the detailed review. I have liked and subscribed, your detailed content was admirable. Here are my 4 questions, please. 1) what is the difference between GT 3 and GT 3 pro titanium? 2) Will the watch be equally balanced using silicon straps? 3) Has it launched in US ? If so please share two Amazon buying links for each. 4) What features are you missing by not owning a Huawei phone? I have an android phone. Thank you ! 😊
4. That's somehow your advantages, because you can use modded huawei health to add custom watchface you like. I can't do that with my phone running Huawei Mobile Service.
With the lack of Google functionality on both watches, I would think they are pretty much the same, apart from the new operating OS on the GT 3 Pro. I have both watches my advice would be to keep your GT2 pro is not a worthy upgrade.
Can you make a detailed video of calling feature? Like normally I wear earbuds, so when someone calls me and if I answer the call from my watch, so will the audio from the person calling me will come through the earbuds or the watch? And during an ongoing call do we have an option to change the audio from watch to phone and vice-versa? Please let me know. Thanks.
Great watch, I have used most of major smart watches including Apple watch however this watch in other level, the only problem which I didn't expect at all that mine got alot of deep scratches on the strap lock area after two days of usage only I thought its scratches resistant but looks like I was wrong, I got the titanium version with titanium starp already, I couldn't activate ECG feature by the way on my Galaxy S22 Ultra
Dear TechMagnet Maybe you can solve this mistery. I am talking about the memory capacity of the GT3 pro. The following 3 set on numbers can be found on the internet about the RAM/ROM capacities namely 32 Mb/4Gb, 2Gb/16Gb and 4Gb/32Gb. I contacted Huawei in The Netherlands where I live and they would not give me any information about the memory capacity. It seems like a company secret. However there is a way to check it partly namely connect the watch to the Huawei Health app and somewhere in the settings of the app you can at least see what memory capacity is still free. I think this will give at least a valid number of the ROM (to store data and misic files). Karl I would appreciate it if you could have look at it with your GT3 pro. many thanks in advance. Also If the RAM is only 32 Mb (which is rediculous small) this GT3 pro can probably never be updated to Harmony OS 3.0 (the 3 pro and 3 pro NEW both are updated to harmonay OS 3.0 but those 2 watches have a RAM/ROM of 2GB/16Gb).
I've waited for de Galaxy Watch 5, but after seeing that it is just the same Galaxy Watch 4 with thermometer I decided against it. The GT 3 Pro has much better battery life and looks far better. Also I don't need Google Wallet, WiFi or e-SIM on my smartwatch.. so I'll go for the GT 3 Pro
The Huawei Watch GT3 PRO Titanium I purchased only comes with a leather strap. I looked for a metal made material strap and had bought one but the color and material type is different from the one you are using in the above video. Would appreciate it if you could provide me a link where to buy the titanium strap that is attached to the watch you are showing in this video. Thank you.
How did we get a watch with a titanium strap like that. Because I have an allergy with rubber and leather if used for a long time. In Indonesia, no one has sold it.
Great review thank you.I have an Iphone.I noted you mentioned bluetooth-does the watch synchronize with emails through wi-fi-if so, is there a bleep sound notification? Kind regards, David from the U.K.
I have just 1 question mate. You ride bike like me but did the watch make auto pause when you stop for minute because last watches from huawei doesn't have that feature and this was a shame.
The exact question I have, when I went to the shops and tested the watches some had auto parts function and some didn't on GT3 that was very surprising. I wonder how accurately it works. Also I'm worried about the big button, while cycling I feel that the hand will keep scrolling and pushing it. Please let me know if you have any updates.
@@TechMagnet 2 Qs..does it have inbuilt storage for offline music listening..and 2nd..can we save/export the .gpx file generated after the GPS activity(running/walking/cycling etc.)
Before i buy it i just wanna know: I know watch is titanium, but how durable is glass itself? Cant find any info. Can i connect it to a phone that is not huawei? lol, with the health app and everything.
Are the watch faces outside of Google Play? I have credit on Google that I want to use for faces if I get this watch. Also, does the Huawei watches work 100% with Samsung phones? I don't wanna switch phones. I'd rather just get a Galaxy Watch 4 in that case. I hope they work with Samsung, I love the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro.
Thanks for the video. What about the 24/7 heart rate tracking ? . is that working. If you take a run or bike without starting a workout. Does the heart rate tracking work then? I have the GT3, and the 24/7 is not accurate at all.
According to Huawei's website, the back of the watch is not Sapphire glass but a "Nanocrystalline ceramic rear cover, to make skin-soothing comfort your new normal." Are you referring to just the sensor area or the entire back? Also, it didn't mention if it has an ultra battery saver mode like the Watch 3 Pro... essentially going into LiteOS mode instead of Harmony OS. You mentioned it does not have eSIM support like the Watch 3 Pro. It didn't mention if it has direct Wi-Fi support or gesture controls.
I bought my GT 3 pro a week ago. I found out that messgr cal and viber calll is not functioning. The store salesman said that I need to upgrade my smart watch to the latest version. How is that?
Amazing watch! the only deal breaker is "square corners" design... my watch GT2 pro looks much better in terms of design (for me)... But I think one day I will decide to switch to GT3 pro because of Harmony OS which is much smoother, beautiful and functional vs. Lite OS.
I have GT2. Would get 3/3 Pro or GT3/Pro, in an instant. But NFC and Google Pay or some other working method of paying is a must. Before that, I see no point in upgrading... Will that ever happen, though? Don't know...
Hi, super Video. Weißt du zufällig welche Abstriche man unter IOS machen muss? Habe gehört, der Music Player geht zB nur mit Android? Danke und Gruß aus Niederösterreich.
Where can i buy replacement parts for rotating crown/dial coz it doesnt function when i press it did not display the main menu option for all apps. When i choose power off it just restart not turning off.
Nice watch. Thinking of upgrading from my Samsung watch. One of the things I use all the time is a countdown app. For timing multiple things cooking at once. Are there apps like this available from the Huawei app store for this watch? Thanks for the video!
I use a Huawei gt2 pro and what bothers me the most is that notifications for most applications, such as viber, do not show the viber icon, but use the regular message icon, and that bothers me because it seems like unfinished work on the software. Is it perhaps fixed that each application has its own icon that it should have for notification. Thanks and regards
Can anyone tell me if the GT3 calculates resting heart rate automatically every day (with continuous HR on?) or do you always have to do the 10 minutes rest on waking and press the buttons to do it?
