@@danielnyo513 I reckon youv got a faulty Huawei bro. Mines better than my ipad with retina display. Huawais are also renowned for awsome cameras. Not even hating.
I've had mine since April 2020, so 2 years now. I absolutely love it, it still runs fast and does everything I need it to. For £100, it was an excellent purchase and I would recommend! It also runs all Google apps which is something Huawei have moved away from recently which is very disappointing.
Hi guys, I have new information, There's two versions of this phone. There's the other one with a fingerprint sensor which is a little costly and there's a cheaper one with no fingerprint sensor. Just ask in store before you purchase. I'm from South Africa 🇿🇦
Honestly I got this phone 3 weeks back. Its a fast smooth up to date piece of tech smoother than my ipad. Brilliant phone for 120£ unlocked. Can't lose. Honest review I like 💯
Micro USB on a 2019 phone is quite underwhelming but i suppose that for about 100€ it's a pretty good deal, especially because it looks quite decent as well
Just got this phone..after my galaxy s6 died. I have to say. I am very impressed. I have to admit the fact galaxy s6 runs better even though its two or 3 generations older. This huewei is really close though. Its only slightly slightly laggy at times.
@@bigboi5763 I have the motorola G8 powerlite now . Bottom range phone but very good for around £140. It's actually sort of the best of the bottom bunch
foxitail The Speaker and Display are great for the money but Galaxy A10 is better in my opinion, more warmth in the display and a better camera and faster cpu
Mine has some flaws, but I am happy with it. One of the speakers on the bottom is not working and there are some lighting bugs, where depending on what is shown, the display auto-adjusts the brightness, which is pretty annoying
whos here waiting for their phone to get delivered? me Edit : I got the phone during Christmas perfect shipping. And its great I would recommend it if you are a bit tight on the budget
Hello, we take a new huawei y 6 2019 and I have a problem, on the camera it seems that the colors are too pronounced and the video is desperate and it is set to 13mp and when I watch the video on youtube the picture is strange as if it is blurry and it's set to 720, and when I watch the video in the gallery the same problem all as some dice desperately, and the phone is two days old, what could it be? Thanks bye!
Thanks for the review, smashed my samsung s7 this morning and it's actually cheaper to just buy the huawei y6 than take my s7 to get repaired. I'm a bit worried about them losing google services later this year but £100 for a temporary phone that's actually got decent specs isn't that bad.
Hey everyone, for the UK people watching this, I have found a version of this phone but the design is a bit different and the phone is called Huawei Y6s, it's around £10 more expensive than the y6 though
I dont recomend getting the huawei y6 2018 yes 2019 but not the 2018 i have it and its soo slow + bad camera quality +no fingerprint and theres not enough space, you can only get 3 apps and like 50 photos
It’s not great , I had one but it always lagged in gaming and playing 720p 60fps videos so swapped it for a Galaxy A10 instead , the A10 is better because it has an Oct a core cpu not a quad core cpu like the y6
@@sibusisofaya7874 Yeah they are cheap phones , I got mine for free anyway so can't complain too much , if you want a good cheap phone Alcatel 1s is quite good Octa core cpu and 4gb ram so a lot better than the quad core and 2gb ram on the Huawei 👍
@@christineayres7094 sorry I just read my message it came out wrong. The p10 is wonderful and smooth. Has a very high functioning processor it's galaxy s9 level but the y6 it's terrible. It will lag ALL the time.
This phone needs more ram at least 3gb. Front camera is fine the rear camera isn't great. The sound quality and loudness is amazing but you can't watch full HD video. RU-vid will only allow 720p. Its a nice phone for the price. Just writing messages lags and crashes. Its a 5 out of 10. Would be 4 but the speakers are brilliant best I've heard since HTC boom sound.
i bought a y6 about 2 days it started to update the emui now it wont stop knocking itself on our of im just wondering has anyone else have this problem
I'm looking at getting one - my current contract ran out a few days ago. Can get it from giffgaff, pay £109 today (or whenever) then for £10 pm goodybag you get 6gb data, unlimited calls, unlimited texts. Other plans available but £10 pm for 6gb is more than enough for me. 🙂
I bough this phone recently and was really impressed for what it can do for such a cheap smartphone! only downsides are there is no NFC so i cant pay with contactless when shopping. Also I was lead to believe there was meant to be a fingerprint sensor on it but it seems mines doesn't have one!? does anyone else have the same issue? Apart from that I cant really grumble as the price was fantastic!
Is it a good phone for taking pictures and browsing internet? I'm looking for a phone to my mum. She is an average user. Taking pictures, browsing internet, chatting.
If You can stretch to £150-160 I would recommend Sony L3. It’s a better overall experience, less laggy due to more RAM (3GB as opposed to 2 in here) and overall the actual software is lighter.
It depends on what you're going to use the phone for, but openly honest I'd go with Sony L3. 1. The overall experience is so much smoother. I know that both sport Helio CPUs but there's a night and day difference between A22 (Y6) and P22 (L3). Numbers aside it just makes L3 fly as opposed to Y6. 2. Dual-lens camera system on L3. Second lens is used for depth sensing, and allows you to create nice background blur when taking pictures of people. 3. Fingerprint sensor on the side. Depending in the market Y6 might come with FP, however the Y6 and L3 I've reviewed on my channel are both sourced from UK market, which means no FP on Y6. FP is not a dealbraker but it's a nice convenience. 4. Currently the future of Huawei brand is uncertain. Again, there are no official statements, and as an Expert I don't want to speculate on what might or might not happen to the Huawei or it's subsidiary Honor brand.
Hey folks. Thinking of getting this in a couple of days. The sound seems amazing for a phone. Anyone know if Google banning huawei has made the phone into a brick, or given other problems?
The Y6 is an equivalent of Samsung A20e. The A40 is way better in every single aspect, and it's direct competitor is Huawei P smart 2019. @@esperanzavictora i got mine from carphone warehouse it was £100 merry christmas btw u can also use face unlock and other things aswell if u didnt know
Between Nokia 5.1 plus and Huawei Y6 2019 wich phone do you recommend? If you look at the specifications, they are quite the same, the reviews are better on the Y6. I don't know what to choose
If you could stretch your budget to Sony L3 then that would be a decent alternative, if not, then I would personally go with a Nokia 5.1, because of android one support (2 years of OS updates, 3 years of security updates). Y6 2018 was released last year and its still running on two year old Android 8.1. Y6 2019 might share the same fate with android 9. CPU in Nokia is also slightly more powerful than the one in Y6 2019 (its comparable with Snapdragon 630, where Mediatek CPU in Y6 2019 is comparable with snapdragon 425)
Unfortunately the camera sucks so bad for this one. I'll return it and choose a different phone. I wouldn't recommend it unless you don't care about the quality of pics taken.
