With the way the car is, it's going to take a lo-o-o-t of time. Should be worth it, though. Thanks for the video!

A tip would probably just be to pull the whole front/rear sub frame with everything attached to it. Might be easier to work on it and clean up everything with sandblasting or something

That’s a actually a great point! I’m not sure why I didn’t go that approach to begin with! I think probably due to the fact I wanted to get that broken bolt extracted and try to slap everything together and see if I could move the car under its own power! But now that I am alittle further along and had some time to think this may be what I do! Thanks for the comment!

@@JoezGarage yes, i mean the car is old and there is probably rust here and there, it will probably make everything easier for ya to reach all the spots in the motor area as well as In the rear. Replace bushing etc

for sure great ideas. thanks for the help with the process! I do have an exciting video coming up that I may reverse this process before I tear it all down but I think I may go this route after looking into how that would work!

You probably did so already but get a center punch and some cobalt drill bits. cobalt drill bits are great for hardened steel.

Ahh I wish I would have known the cobalts were strong. I used Milwaukee that I’ve used in the past that were just OkAY. Thanks for the info!

Need some PB blaster for the bolts
@JoezGarage
@JoezGarage 5 месяцев назад
Yeah for sure, I use JB80 it’s similar to PB blaster but it’s alittle better IMO! It foams and really breaks down rust alittle better then the PB but I do use PB for some applications

Love that! I wouldn’t mind a 4 door so I can throw the kids in the back alittle easier but I do really like the way the coupe looks!
