First time watching your videos. I was worried when I saw the size of the hole you cut to clear diff. Then I saw the cover you made and all worries were gone. Nice work!
Great video man, I'm sure I have seen a few other videos and instead of cutting out that section in the trunk for the diff they bashed up the underneath a bit, I could be wrong, other then that, that looks like a easy install, I just sold my factory ek5 RTi awd ek sedan the other day and picked up a eg hatch yesterday so will be converting it to awd, I have a k24 swap and turbo kit plus all the wagon parts, i just need trailing arms and diff mount to complete the eg, I cant wait
Those footraces were actually pretty cool. They didn't just tie. Their feet and legs were in perfect sync even though they were going all out. Just like two homologated race cars in the same bracket and class. You can even hear that their footfalls are at the exact same time. That's pretty awesome to get on film in one try both times. That was really cool (and lucky) to get as a result of a race.
I got my hondata s300 from them, great shop. Great prices too. They are local to me, and HCP has been good to me. And I got a nice little Honda with 12psi of boost lol... nice video bro. Congratulations.. keep it up
I’m currently researching this now, I’m a shop teacher here in south fl at our local high-school, had a ek 4dr donated to me, other shop teacher is a big domestic guy and I’m the import teacher being i’m younger, cant wait to build a AWD K and surprise everyone 🤙🏼
@@BoostByGearPerformance will do absolutely, might be going with a EM2 chassis, when I was swapping AJ’s back in the day we had to cut mounts and make our own shift linkages etc, nothing was out yet!
im not into racing but i want an automatic awd civic. i have an automatic 2000 civic Si coupe. I want to convert it to AWD. I also have an automatic 1999 Honda CR-V AWD as a donor car. i want to know if it is possible to take the engine(B20Z2), transmission, transfer case, driveshaft, and rear differential from the automatic CR-V and swap them into the automatic civic. Allowing the civic to remain as an automatic?
Did the top mount for the diff come with kit or did you have to fab that up too with the bar that goes welded on top of diff to the frame ? Looking good man that plate cover for the diff came out raw. Keep it bro
It came with the kit bro! Thanks man I didn’t paint it because we still have to do the cage stuff but when we do that I’ll paint it all at the same time!
Boost by gear Performance nice man can’t wait to see this thing in action. Had a EG so this is a very interesting build for me lol and Sorry about the EF glad your safe and back at it.
How much power you think this set up can handle? Ive been out of the honda game for years but im starting to plan an awd B series build. Would you mind telling me what all you need aside from this as well?
Still... will never shut down trust me.. it’s the new big thing for Honda enthusiasts.. love my Integra❤️ I have it now about 9 years. Definitely will do this AWD build soon. Maaan!! this is crazy. Imagine no more spinning, corner like a boss, fly off, donuts.... I’m takin about daily drive or on weekend.. ❤️💯
@@BoostByGearPerformance so 10 to 15 just for a rolling AWD chassis ? Done by a shop ? Also what would it cost to swap a k24 into that after converted . Thanks 🙏🏻
