I found this interview heartwarming. It sounds like Elvis was so happy to have an old school friend visit him. His hospitality of his friend shows what a truely lovely person Elvis was. God Bless.
How the heck did he have the balls to be so different way back in the 50’s!!! Most kids would try to blend in and be part of the crowd! But Elvis wanted to stand out from the crowd with his colorful clothes and style!!! From what I understand he was just different from everybody else! But soon after high school, most teenaged boys would try to look like Elvis!!! Elvis would set the standard of how a Rock “n” Roll Icon would look and be like!!! He would then set the world on fire!!! ☮️🖖🏽
When your an outsider you kind of live in your own world. So others options youre aware of to a degree but you don't really care because it's what YOU want.
Love hearing the story about Elvis friend when he would hang out with him. In high school Elvis was very different he love wearing flashing clothes and colorful coats and socks. He would get tease for his clothes and his hair. Boy these man has thick southern accent the way he says some words like piano is so cute.
Elvis was true to himself for a while but after he got out of the army, he slowly lost his way, especially artistically - in my opinion. He didn’t surround himself with people who were conducive to his creativity. I think he needed to fire The Colonel, stop surrounding himself with good old boys who were yes men and take better care of himself instead of secluding himself in Graceland.

Nice story Hubert .how lucky you were to have known Elvis. Cool cat 🎤🎼we went to the Aubadon drive home just this Friday.outside of course .respect needed even for the new owners.it being renovated now.ready for tv show.music purposes.beautiful house.you can see why Elvis chose it.beautiful area. Thank you so much for sharing with us all. Uk 🇬🇧
Wow, I can only imagine how it would have been. If one knew the future and saw him at the time, no one would be able to take their eyes of him on a daily basis just to see how things develop. This guy was one of those who, if he knew, it would have been different I'm sure.
The smaller stories become larger stories when about Elvis. I wonder if his friend that attended Humes High School knew how big Elvis would be during these times his friend was reminiscing about. It is just very interesting when reminiscing about the "King of Rock and Roll."
