I love simple! If I can get tough instructions with pictures they have my attention. Then I see a DVOM with a selector that has only 5 modes (again simple) my wallet starts to come out. Okay, the leads that accept multiple connectors. Done. I'm spending some money! (ha ha) Great review Rob. Nice editing and commentary. I think you could be a spokes person for this company. I'll check out this product for sure. Lets hope they ship to the States. On a side note. I found the best hand soap for mechanics ever but it's made in Germany. The only place I can find it online to buy the stuff is from a company in the UK. Guess what? They don't ship to the US. When ever I go to Germany I come back with tubs of hand soap.

It's called from a company called "beko". (Hand waschpaste, spezial) It comes in a 500ml tub. No worries Rob. A friend from Germany brings me the soap when he comes to visit. I have enough until I get to Germany, which is in April. But if you can find it locally, give it a try. It's the best soap I've ever used. A little expensive, but it only take a pinch so it lasts a good while.

Good tool if you dont have anything else...but realy how many volt meters do you need..lol The amp draw function over the fuse is a good feature though.

Which Focus have you got the 1.6 or 2.0? The MK1 Focus they used galvanised exterior panels so have less rot than the majority of similar aged Ford's.

1.6 Mk1 I’ve had this one for years and it just keeps on trucking :)

The 2ltr MK1 is a bit better. They have the same gearboxes as the MK1 RS, it has synchromesh on the gearbox so it doesn't crunch in reverse. These are well known to reach 180,000 miles + with basic maintenance. You'll be on your second clutch by that time though, in the UK a clutch has probably about a maximum of 130,000 miles, depending on how much town driving is put on it.
