Which Hubsan did you use. The Professional or just the standard HS501? Also, did you mod the remote or anything on the drone? How much did it all cost? Please respond, I want to know.
To get this high you need more than the pro remote or antenna upgrade. The drone's firmware needs hacked to remove the 250m limit. Be cautious because some have rendered their drone dead in the water doing so. There are many links on the web showing how to do this. In the US the FAA doesn't allow flight over 400' anyway so right out of the box it's capable of breaking the law. This high is insane and I'm surprised the drone came back at all. Awesome video nonetheless.
I'd not advise doing this in the US. I just ordered my second Hubsan H501S. I have some experience with them. Some, not so good. My Advanced transmitter had a bad ipex connector which allowed it to go uncontrollable after 97 meters.I fixed that myself. Then, the right stick locator went bad. I had Hubsan fix that. If you even think of this quad. You've got to do some extensive test flights in an open filed. For Christ's sake don't do it in an urban area like this. Plus, this needs your FAA number on it if you live in the US...
Should have background music as "Somebodys watching you.." which is true.. Windy up there..This drone need to be moving in order to be even slightly smooth.
I got a scrap one here, 5 batts and spare blades, so might as well buy again For £80 , then I get myself a new ebike as well for £380. So will be a happy camper I know how to fit motors in this model.Rob DJI can kiss my arse!!! and Banggood, all the models I brought from you over the years, I send my SG906 back for repair, now return it fixed please and I will continue to support you. I multinational site can easily get my drone fixed I have sent you the DATA over RU-vid already,
Just add a cheap $15 antenna kit which is quite simple, and you can get about 1000 feet on a good day. I don't know what this guy is using or how high this is, but clearly waaaay over the legal limit in the US for standard flying
this reminds me when i was. a younger. One. And a kite. i was flying. and let it go way way Way UP. and the wind snapped the line. Almost. pulled me up with it . And it went. its merry. way. I Learn't. a valuable.Lesson from that time. until. this. time. when it comes to flying. not only RC'S. But. manned aircrafts.
I'm with you on this Giorgio Ntanas, ignore those gobshite fuckers. They would complain if a drone fell from that height and damaged their property or person ... FUCK 'EM , idiots.
look every body these. are little flying machines meant for our fun and not to endanger. those who are flying up there with real peoples aboard. those big aircrafts. that. just love to get those. who took off with them. to get them down . safely. so. to all who fly. fly. safe. and always. remember.we. are not the only. ones thats flying. up there. its. a big sky. Yall's. but crowded. So always. remember.THAT. when we take. off.
All I see here is a blatant disregard of what 99.9 percent of RC aircraft flyers call acceptable. While it may be cool to fly at such a height, it isn't cool when you consider what is below, AND what you might be in the path of, way up there. You almost lost it on descent , shame you didn't, but that would mean possible harm or damage below. So in this rare instance I'm gonna say I'm glad you got it back home , but also VERY rarely , I'm giving this a definite thumbs DOWN. Please try to be more responsible in future. For any commentors , no I am not the drone police, or the like, but safety should always come first in this hobby, and if you disagree, you should NOT be allowed to fly a craft.
aircraft are in more danger running into each other and from engine failure than running into a drone actually there more danger from clipboard getting away in a robinson without doors on it and striking the tail rotor than from a drone you guys who fly high do not do it near airports and please look at the approaches and corridors and stay out of them and be looking to stay away from low flying aircraft especially helicopters be cause they wil fly under a mode c vail about 800 feet puts most choppers in a good height velocity curve in case of engine falure one thing quadcopters dont do is autorotate very good haterade
look all of us that love to fly. no this is to high. so. lets get off of this. he knows. not to do. THAT. Stupid. Shit. again. Ever. and neither. any one else. should. do it. Be safe every. body. and fly fun.
Legal shmegal. You people act like there's a cop under every bush just waiting to grab your drone for flying too high. How could anyone know how high you fly unless they're looking over your shoulder? Goof. Great view from up here, huh? :o)
