yes I noticed jello again in recent clips and i noticed jello in other reviewers flight videos too. i have informed hubsan about this issue and sent them my samples as well. hope they will fix it
Thanks for the superp work you do! I have a question: Muazzin Yasin has done some tests but results (range, battery) are not what we espect. What can be the reason? Also Idaho Quadcopter has heat problems when hovering. His obstacle avoidance test went wrong perhaps because his car was too clean (mirror effect).
range, signals, battery and OA tests might have different results in different areas / geographically so far. as factory has only tested in China so they have no idea how it will behave in different countries. so my drone behaves different while other can behave different given GPS satellites, weather, winds conditions, and most of all frequencies around and interference, plus yes if they did the calibrations properly or not. I have not tried obstacle avoidance on a very clean Car or object LOL but i have tried it on a fence which you have watched and mine stopped just fine. one thing for sure, whoever is having issues, they should immediately send their log files to hubsan and report to hubsan so they can improve the situation for them. I did a 5km (10km with Going 5km back 5km (outback)) testing, stay tuned

This drone is starting to look good. I will wait til all features working before buying. If the Zino performs to spec I can see buying this drone to avoid DJI geofencing/NFZ. I live in Canada and since this drone is under 250g I do not need to register it and I can fly it anywhere as long as I am careful ie. don’t do anything stupid.
Very nice test But hubsan has to fix the focus issue and zooming to center Also record zooming to center Not just showing on the screen That is a big issue for me
That is probably not focus problem, but just motion blur on the background! He is on focus because he is like a point of interest ,and not moving much , but because background is moving faster, and it is motion blurred! Same thing happens when You pan 360 degrees with the drone, and picture is blurry. And in a contrary, when You fly straight, picture is much cleaner and sharp regardless You Are moving! Pixels are changing, but not as fast as when You are panning! But when You stop, it clears in perfect view ! That is because there is not much of a movement! The less the movement, the sharper the image! That has nothing to do with focus! Also motion blur could be jerky and choppy , or nice smooth and cinematic looking! Depend on the shopper speed compared to the frame rate! Happy flying ! 🍻
appreciate the effort mate… thank you very much… everything is tested besides active track which should be available today (august 20 update should incl. active track). im eagerly waiting for it and as a reqest, it would be great if you can also test the active track with a bike. im biker and the only reason im gonna pick an active track enabled drone is to shoot the landscapes i go biking… thanx once more

Good that the led can be turned on/off manually. I had this question and your first answer was no. As you said you can only control it during flight. I don't know the FAA requirement for night flight but in Europe EASA requires a green strobe on night flights. This Led doesn't comply with the requirement.
I am very excited this drone is out but I was definitely interested in the thermal version, there are no specs anywhere about the thermal capability and no one is talking about it, thanks for the useful stuff in the video though.
Im not sure if people realize how good thermal is for night vision, sometimes even better in total dark situations. But I understand if most people dont care about night vision or any of those.
Hi alishanmao, I was finally able to see your raw clips on Rumble. The reshaping of the sensor of the "zino mini" even seems exaggerated in terms of the quality of the details. Compared to similar shots I did with my mavic 2 pro, I notice very little difference. Thanks again for your effort. I am still waiting for my "zino mini" to arrive from banggod, so I can use it in areas where with the mavi 2 pro I cannot fly because it is prohibited by law, in Europe with a drone under 250 gr there are fewer restrictions. good job and bye from Italy
I would say Air 2s because it has this APAS feature that means it will detect and by pass the objects with its smart AI. so you can fly through windows, doors and not collide with anything. But Air2s size is slightly bigger and you can only do big properties like villas, fly through big windows, wide doors, etc. a Mini drone could go and fly indoors in smaller apartments or properties too. I hope hubsan can release the by pass obstacle feature soon because then I would recommend to with mini drone that can bypass objects. if you can learn to fly FPV CineWhoops, well then thats just a whole different world of Property real state cinematics.
I would be interested in a horizontal range test. Also since you are not in the US, maybe they don't have the 400ft limit. I wonder if the app is geo-aware, or maybe there is no lock at all! also, the windows app TeraCopy will give you data move bitrate and time. super helpful! And I thought they were going to release some of these features 8-20, yesterday.
@@alishanmao I think so, this means it will focus everything that is 1 meter (I think) or further away.. maybe it's starting at 2meters and when you are closer it will be out of focus...
Yup watched that. maybe he got a faulty cable, could be lose connection on his phone. different phones behave different when it comes to Drones. I have no idea why he is having those issues. for Obstacle avoidance he must calibrate vision positioning system properly before flying.
@@alishanmao seems to me he doesn't want it to work properly the videos are more of hating on the mini and trying to tell us not to buy the videos are for us to decided if to buy or not but when someone is leaning toward total collapse of the drone have no idea why such a huge difference in out comes but something is well we will see

well maybe too early to release without finishing all features. a new product should be tested thoroughly and finished before releasing but hubsan has their own reasons

The new Hubsan Zino Mini Pro is awesome but unusable at the same time. No SD-Card slot is a absolutely deal breaker. What if the internal storage gets for some reason corrupted? Yeah then you can go home and cry... come on Hubsan, WTF you was thinking releasing the Drone without a simply SD-Card slot?! Speechless :(
Hubsan must have their reasons and tech to protect the internal memory. but every Memory card has a life. and once the life is over, what do we do? question should be, how easy it is to swap the memory card inside? if it can be swapped then its not a big issue
@@alishanmao Thx for reply me, I appreciate that. Honestly it's a really bad solution from Hubsan. The costs for a working SD Card slot are really low. Yeah every memory card has his life but can be swapped easily and cheep without any expenditure. And Memory can be corrupted easily from unexpected things i.e. low battery power too. I don't want open the drone for some memory swapping, you will loose all guaranty from Hubsan if you do that yourself. Nope, I beware of buying this drone, this SD Card thing is a absolutely deal breaker in my opinion.
yes it should be able to. if you connect the drone, mac should detect a new USB drive and you can copy paste files normally. but there is no software for mac right now to calibrate vision position system.
Please correct me if i am wrong with my observation but it appears that the horizon was off if you pause it at 12:08 but other than that so far so good.
@@alishanmao Because of the sensor size, the zoom could be pan from any direction using the phone. that's why you only see part of the image. They is super easy to fix that in code. Now, they need to fix the Jello.
I don't think they have the yet and when they do, the landing should be stable without dancing around. Right now there is no precision landing. and you should see UI displaying if the sensor captures the scanned images before taking off. That's how we do code, we compares last data with new one for precise targets.
welcome to the group who believed hubsan advertising. well thats very much hubsan. why do you think i have stopped all my support to hubsan and tell people not to buy these. just because of this and their worst ever support to customers that made tons of customers lose their money and time. i do not think there is a fix for this. and talking to hubsan has no use at all. they will just waste your time. if its flying well and recording videos and still ok in normal mode, just use that.

A really helpful video would be the maximum tracking speed test. Go somewhere with your car and see how fast it can track you in expert mode from behind until you start to pull away….
when did it start? I did not notice this issue. maybe restarting the drone will fix it? did you use the new features like Active track or creative flight modes? and then it started? or just after starting the drone it has 3 seconds delay
Very disappointed that Zino Mini Pro has 5km distance limitation on waypoint path. It is ridiculous especially if the drone can fly 35+ min. No need for this limitation if the drone has native waypoints. I am pretty disappointed but still better than virtual stick that dji mini 2 has.
well Ermin, after i flew 5km and came back safely (landed with 28% or less battery) i can say why Hubsan gave only 5km limit. because anything beyond 5km can become 1 way ticket you know. the longest flight i have seen by a chinese guy was 7km (outback 14km) and that was done in calm winds scenario
@@alishanmao Ali, I understand that. However, after playing around in Hubsan's Zino Mini app, I determined that 5km path limit is 5km path length total. Which means, you fly only 2.5km one way and and then 2.5km back when you return if designing a mission in a straight line. It would be nice if you would be able to fly 5km in distance and back (total 10km trip length) but the app is limiting you to do that. I do not have Zino Mini Pro so I cannot test it but like I said, I played around with mission creator in the app and the app prevents you to create a mission that is longer than 5km path length. I am ok with 5km radius limit..that makes sense. However total waypoint path limit to be 5km does not make sense for a drone that can fly over 35min. My DJI Spark that could fly only 13 to 15 min was able to complete 5km path mission (2.5km and 2.5km back) with no problem. Zino Mini Pro should be able to easily double that.
The Zino Mini Pro has a camera system way better than the DJI Mini 2, but it is compromised by their terrible software. Videos coming out of that camera look over-sharpened and under saturated like a higher resolution FPV camera, the censor can provide up to 8k 21fps, yet we don’t even have 4k60, but only 4k30, not even 4k24, which it is clearly capable of all those resolutions. Husband has built the best drone by spec, but I’m quite disappointed by their terrible software dev team.
