The worst thing in LA is when the bike lane is painted on the road (like you said) so you share the road with traffic. And people are super aggressive here. You basically have to either go over 40mph to keep up with traffic or get out of the hell outta their way.
Bro, I live in Florida and li e a little out of town. I have to take a hwy (2 lane in most of the strech i have to take) with no bike lane to get anywhere and the speed limit is 50 - 55 mph and people drive 60+. Luckily my Huck has been good so far and I've been just riding in traffic like a motorcycle but I'm doing 55 minimum and it drains your battery quick when consistently riding at those speeds.
Love my Onyx and the way it was designed, but I also love that Huck gives you a lot of options for customization when you purchase it. Both are great bikes and so much fun to ride! Great vid as always man!
I want my fist Street e bike! Doing research thanks for the help! The huck is less than 3k and looks perfect. I just want a cheap bike that can go 60-80mph and has a decent range, I can buy and extra battery I guess if needed but 80 miles is really all I need. Any suggestions for a first time buyer?
The onyx bike is nice but I must say the Huck is on the next level the design of the Huck just gives you that vintage motorcycle feel . I don't know what the onyx design going for some kind of futuristic look that just didn't quite make it. The onyx looks like a toy when the Huck looks like a fine piece of machinery!!

I bought the last huck rebel with pedals from Brett and I'm looking for ideas/options for upgrades. Its 3000w 60v. I had them ad the Cafe racer headlight faring and I've had it to 71 mph (on display, I haven't checked it with my phone GPS yet). I just received the upgrade 72v battery from huck ($2500 I think 😢) and a rack. Haven't added them yet. I'd love some input and suggestions. Thanks

An ONYX and a HUCK have a baby, that's the custom build. Sur-Ron, wants a paternity test, The Shreddie Bomber is born. Collab an Enduro where rider can add or change out tires etc. for on and off road. Remaining WTF to the police eye, must keep the ghost pedaling going. I'm really curious about the cafe handlebars on the huck..I can't find a video anywhere with em..is it comfortable..im trying to visually compare it to the onyx it looks like the huck is a bit taller so maybe the huck will have a bit more upright position than the onyx
The Huck is a beautiful bike, the Onyx is bad too but they just defeat the purpose of ebikes to me. Once they do like over 40 mph to me it's overkill and then many riders do dumb stuff on them while riding in traffic or around people and stuff and I feel it'll start giving ebikes a bad rap. To me Ariel Riders X52 and Grizzly are the best ebikes out there in regards to what they offer, quality, and then the speed is right there in the mid 30's.
@@Trillville43 you're right, I've seen people on Onyx on RU-vid doing insane stuff and riding around reckless and they go into bicycle trails flying by other riders on regular bikes going about 50 or so, that's why some places are adding new laws and stuff making it hard on ebikes.
I would imagine not many Huck Stinger owners would ride at high speeds at risk of eating up battery power. Depending on the location I believe some would ride an average 25 miles.

@@NickDaTech no what I'm saying is when I bought the bike it came with it this bike was brand new with only two miles on the bike but I am the second owner The guy before me that had it switched it out I still have the original stock ones but I like these handlebars even better cuz it's more of a sports bike feel

Are you kidding me why is shreddy the only one wearing a helmet.? You guys should know better you're supposed to be supporting bike safety and a helmet is the number one asset for any Rider. Do remember if you register those bikes you won't be riding the trails with those bikes.
People are excited by this bikes,,what they don't know DMV its working on that,,anything that moves over 35 mph in USA ,requires license plates and insurance 😂 ,choose the right bike people..
They are already trying to get eBIKE licenses started in California and New York City right now under the age of 12 he won’t be able to even ride an electric bike
Hey dude, didn't you say in one of your vids you'd had issues where the huck would lose all power and you'd have to disconnect the battery and reconnect? Did you ever figure out what causes that issue? When i'm in mode 3 and punch it mine dies. Thanks for any response!
That happened to me because I had a low battery and I accelerated past the cutoff point…you may have some settings you have to mess with if your battery is dying at a full charge
