The details she's giving in this video with the scores out of 5 is AMAZING. This is what you call a review. Not just creating a look but giving information we need. You go Nikkie
Oud in Arabic is pronounced (Ood) which is a woodsy - oriental scent used in incense, perfume and oil. Very important and coveted scent in the Middle East, it's also brown in color so that's why it's called like that in the palette. Like so Nikki can see 🙌🏼 KEEP IT STICKY NIKKIE ✨👅
@Mariam Yassen no, I was asking if it was. See above? I said "is it..." I have no idea what the musical instrument is made out of & was asking if it's that wood talked about earlier. Because it's a question regarding the same wood, I didn't want anyone to think I was being sarcastic, which I'm not, I'm actually very curious myself. Sorry if you misunderstood me.
such a beautiful palette, perfect for fall! 🍂 personally i think the price is a little steep though. For $65 you can get two or three decent palettes and have a wider selection of colours!
Could you please give me some examples? I was thinking of getting the rose gold edition before it gets discontinued. But if there are any options which have the same colours please hook me up💕
Make sure you use the glittery ones with your finger. They don't stick well even with some spray to a brush. They're kind of like the Desi x Katy quad in that way.
Kendall Alfred if you do get it please give it a chance and play with it without judging it bc people seem not to give pallettes a chance after the subculture which is sad
Georgia Myers yea ik but still it looks perfect everytime without any effort I mean did you see how she did the flick? It was like BOMB ON YOUR FACE kind of flicks lol
This eye is one of the most beautiful looks I've ever seen! I live for a flaming red/orange look, add in that severe liner and cut crease and it really looks amazing.
Absolutely gorgeous palette, great packaging and stunning look...but not for $65. If it were between $40-$45, heck maybe even between $40-$55 I could understand, but $65 is just a bit too steep for me.
All her palettes are overrated. The shimmer shades are never pigmented, as you saw in the tutorial. So not worth $65 and even in Sephora her palette has 3 stars.
the oud shade is pronounced ood. Like with a long 'o'. In Arabic it has two meanings: 1) Lute, which is a musical instrument and 2) Incense. I hope that helps!
Oud =عود it comes from the wood of the Southeast Asian agar tree.....When the wood becomes infected with a particular type of mold, the tree reacts by producing a dark scented resin, which is often called “liquid gold" and when you burn it ohhhhh baby it smells amazing 😫
I was having the worst day of my life today and when I saw you uploaded I almost cried because now matter what kind of day I am having you always make so much better. Thank you for being my queen.
Nikki you are so amazing and you have taught me so much already. Major cringe but at this time last year I applied foundation and concealer with my hands. I didn't even know what primer or setting spray was. So thank you so much Nikki for teaching me how to create art on my face, express myself, and gain a little confidence. You are so amazing and I love you so much 💗
Bleach Bum exactly it's better to use a foundation brush or concealer brush but I think dabbing concealer on with ur finger is a ok I wouldn't use hands for foundation though. I prefer a brush.
Oud is kind of wood that arabs like huda use to make the place or the body smells ammaaazing it's smells like wood and luxury and warm and amazing i love that, givenchy came with oud prefume and alot of companies .
I literally can't find it anywhere anymore she must have deleted it i'm so so sorry but if u wanna hear nikkie speak dutch you should go to RTL late night channel she did an interview talking about her collab with Kim K
MusicLyrics15 Lol I just watched the video where she speaks dutch and omg it feels so weird but I loved it even if I don't understand a single word in dutch 😂
The first lipstick you showed by hudabeauty the green/brown/red/ one was sooo pretty and I was thinking for your next look if you could include that in a youtube for a tutorial not BASED on it but just used because I would love to see it!💕💕💕 love you your vids are great and sooo inspiring.
oud is pronounced ood, oud is from the arabic language and it is a specific type of perfume !! (it also means an arabic guitar but i dont think its the case)
It's $85 in Canada, plus for a pallette of that price point you shouldn't have to apply the glitters with your fingers. If it weren't for that big con (for me) I probably would have got it by now
Nikkie I just wanted to say that I adore you fellow Dutchie and that you're amazing. You're really a person that i look up too and you're just so talented. You could just make everything work. I love you ❤️❤️👑
AGREED! Anyone who can get a amazing look from a kids palette to full face with liquid lipsticks ending with a full face with NO brushes lmao omg . I've been stuck with her!
You really can makeup anything work if you see how the product works and actually worth WITH it instead of just doing things the way you normally do. I rarely have issues with anything I just work with it. ❤️
ive been following you since 50'000 and I just want to say you completely deserve everything you've achieved. Never stop inspiring us! Love you Nikki!! xxx
Gurl.. first you make me choke whenever I go through your Snaps' fresh face and now you're making me roll off the bed with this look. *You gon make me throw my back out*
In my opinion, when ur doing a playtime video you should just use the palette. When you create the eyelook it looks amazing but gurll, i have been dying to see that ''Retrograde'' shade.
I really don't understand Huda Beauty prices...the quality doesn't look all that spectacular and her brand is relatively new and not a luxury brand. I get that they're Sephora price range but I feel like a $40-45 price would be a lot more justifiable
oh fuck I actually don't like Huda at all, and I was wondering the same thing until I tried one of her lipstick! It's super high quality and the ingredients are even better than other lipsticks with the same price range. She actually went to school for this so she's not just a youtuber.
I've never clicked so fast.... And I don't know what to comment except that Nikki is the best but everyone knows that EDIT: Thank you, didn't think I'd get a like from someone other than me.
I love how you are informing your own opinion on rating of the products! I'm just starting to get more in depth to makeup and these tips and your opinion is so so helpful. I love the look, you look amazing!
Anyone else think that glitter on the center of the lid is sort of cheating?? I thought it was all that twilight shade...😥 nonetheless, this look is bomb. Nikkie slays💜👏🏼
Honestly you are the make-up queen of the century, you are good at all of it. I mean, the hair, nails, fashionable clothes, and the make-up. You always shine brighter than the sun, we don't even need electricity because we have you. THE MAKEUP QUEEN!💄💄💄
The word is OUD. It does not mean OUT.... it is actually an Arabic word for Perfume. They use "oud" on a burner which infuses the whole house with a great woody smell. This is just FYI. Any how Nicki you are the only RU-vidr that can take any palette to the next level............
angelene el kahlot yea and it's the color in he palette so I don't think huda meant something old I believe she used the Arabic word oud because it resembles the color
angelene el kahlot Thank you for saying something. This brand and palette in particular was clearly designed for women of color. It's obnoxious seeing white women appropriating and disrespecting the origins of beauty and culture from people of color. White women apparently don't have enough fodder for their tube channels so they need to take from us women of color.
When reviewing a product can you try to only use the shadows from that product? like i feel when you put on that make up forever glitter over top twilight you weren't staying true to the review and just showing what the palette can do, not what u can do with other products added on to the shadow. Just my opinion, love your videos tho and you are a great makeup artist!
I completely agree with you, but I honestly don't hate what she did here, is that weird? Like I wish that she did a full look with only this palette, but I think she just got carried away in her artwork and it almost showcased her true love for makeup. When a person is truly passionate about something, they can be hard to control and I think that Nikkie was just having fun and forgot for a second that she was doing a review.
Bubble Bath Blog it's because she used it on top of a nude lipstick, it's not going to show up as much since it's already close to the color. If she used it on top of a dark lip you would be able to see the glitter more, similar to the becca and jouer lip toppers
I am delighted to see someone who is so passionate and excited about make up, and that brings a big smile to my face. Your videos are so beautifully filmed and your skills are impeccable!!! Love you, Nikkie!
And now because of you I really need this palette... You are more than make-up artist, you are a beauty influencer! But the result will not be as gorgeous as you 😞😂😂
I wish ,I was that talented when doing my makeup.. but damm when I do my eyeshadow I look like someone punched me ..and ended up having a black eye😅😅😅 who else?
Debra Fling I think they mean that if it swatches are good people will buy it because people are only concerned about swatches. Which is completely true. It would be a marketing trend to make things as "pigmented" as possible in a swatch rather than making something that will work on the eyes, where you wear it.
