@@bimbolecter9764 Retrograde is actually a word that describes motion of a planet that makes it seem as if it's moving backwards, but in fact it's just an illusion since other planets have different orbits to ours... I'm not an astronomer so this is the best way i can describe it... And all the astrology bullshit is so empty at it's core, that it just borrows actuall facts/science phrases and bends them in a way, that it can be fed to even emptier headed people that need to put the blame on some "higher forces" for their shortcomings... It's just so PAINFULLY OBVIOUS it not about astrology.

I see it as a very pastel sort of space vibe. It looks absolutely beautiful and I love the look you created! You make the most beautiful alien! Also, side note, cause I thought it might be amusing. I once got two snickers that said "Hot Mess" and "Space Cadet" and honestly if that doesn't say what my dreams in life are, idk what else. So I definitely associate hot mess with space lol.

Sadly, Huda misunderstands Mercury in Retrograde intrinsically. The space theme should be astrology not astronomy. Nevertheless, good look. I have the huda rose gold palette. It's great. Not sure what the brand thinks it is doing rn

This is an incredible look. So impressive how you've changed the planes of your face here. Even really early on in the look the "not human" alarm was ringing in my brain, and as you developed the look you could easily have been an actual alien 🥰

In one of the "New releases" videos I watch, someone suggested a couple of small changes to this palette that would have made it STELLAR. I think it mostly involved replacing some of those pastel mattes with a dark teal, maybe a gold, and just more dark mattes in general.

That is crazy looking.....I LOVE IT. I would have took a little bit of the shimmer blue that you swatched at the end and put it in the middle of your bottom lip and faded it from you hair line down to the highlight on your forehead.

I have the huda rose gold, and desert dusk palettes and I only dip into them for the shimmers as well, I do enjoy the colour story in them though. I'm darker than you so 3/4 of the shades won't even show up on my skin and will probably look ashy on me. It was definitely missing a navy and a deep shimmery indigo to make it usable for me. I think this palette will be a miss for me. Unreal talent as always!

I think huda beauty just lacks consistency in terms of thematic logic. Every launch seems to have a random campaign going on, the desert dusk was arabic/middle Eastern inspired, the powder was bakery inspired, the cream contour/tantour had a gym inspired weight lifting theme, and this palette is just "spacey" but not really. Not saying that each product launch can't have its own individual campaign and theme. But its just a little messy and confusing if you ask me. Specially if you're a high end brand, I don't personally think its a very sophisticated move to pull. But it all sells and sells very well, so huda shouldn't worry lol. Also I agree, the palette should have had deeper tones to compliment the lighter ones, I personally think a very shimmery fine glitter sort of black sequin shade or a navy blue or a deep deep purple was something this palette needed more than it needed tones of the same pink some warm some cool. Nevertheless, this is amazing and you're so so talented.

I also had mixed feelings about the vibes of the palette, but i tried to shop my stash to dupe the vibes this morning and it turned out well. So no need to buy it for me!
