Some of us had the privilege of being river rats since the 70's. Hudson used to be an amazing place to live. The St Croix meadows greyhound track days were a very interesting time in Hudson history! I'm grateful that I was a resident of the Afton/Hudson area until 2001- GLAD I LEFT when I did! Moved up here to God's country on the south side of Lake Mille Lacs where all you east side city people come to on the weekends & cause a 30 mile stand still, dead stop of traffic on hwy 169. Us locals can't even get anywhere Friday- Sunday. Hudson used to be paradise. The property taxes and snobs are unbearable. My ex still lives up on river ridge road. It takes 25 minutes to drive 5 miles down there and have fun locating a parking spot! Visit Hudson Tuesday- Friday. Oh, yeah, the cops... Don't even get me started! Cute video, tho. Glad to be a former Hudsonite. The free Thursday concerts in the park are nice ☺️
