huening's dad is american and his mom is korean. i think his parents moved around the us a lot bc his older sister was born in another state! kai was then born in hawaii, but his family moved away when he was only a month old ?? they lived in china because his father worked there. moved to korea when he was in elementary school :) (i honestly dont know if there is actual proof that his dad is of german descent or that he was born in brazil) ps. moa academy was content they released in celebration of their first anniversary last year!

His father isn’t American they did move around but not in America but other countries so he’s only American because he was born in Hawaii other than that he was elsewhere growing up in other countries.

Oh he was only born in Hawaii and he moved a month later. He grew up in China then moved to Korea when he was 7. Also, you've just seen his sisters 12:50

It's so cool that hueningkai and his dad where both born somewhere different from were they grew up like his dad is of German descent was born in Brazil and grew up in US, hueningkai was born in US and grew up in both china and korea. Its amazing

Of all Kpop stars, Hueningkai is the only idol that makes me confuse about his race or where he really lives but I completely understand now. I added his uncle on Facebook or more like followed his acc and YT, his family is actually so fun and interesting that he confirmed all their family history.

Hueningkai dad was born in Brazil and is half german but when kai's dad was one year old his family moved to United states, That is the moment that i get really proud to be a Brazilian MOA

just to make it clear guys, kai's father is brazilian and kai's mother is korean! kai's father went to live in the usa at the age of 4, but he remains Brazilian, even Kai speaks Brazilian Portuguese fluently!

It’s funny this is funny since he he was just born in Hawaii and didn’t live there so I guess they’re going by stereotypes and just saying English that he had to learn like the others. He didn’t grow up anywhere near the US and no one in his family is from or was born in the US they all have these moments not just him.
