Yes that is a quote from the Bible (Matthew 16:26) but that's more linked to the series being set in America than a recognition of Christian faith. Using this line in biblical context would imply that they were willing to lose everything they had on earth to follow Jesus which I assume isn't what is being discussed here
Unless they make a new season, my head canon is that the Freemans manage to get Ed the second arrested, but then Ed the first is about to bail em out. He mocks Huey for his altruism and even laughs, only to suffer a fatal heart attack/ stroke. Realizing the owner is dead, his son is in jail and his grandson is an idiot, all the executives tear the Woncler corporation to the ground, trying to gather what little wealth they can scrounge for themselves
It is interesting...Huey does not pray unless in desperation and helpless situations, but he believes in the concept of a Soul and doing what morally right to a degree in true equal justice. ...Honestly, Huey is that guy that makes his own miracles than letting anyone else have control over him.
“One where he has no real power but your ppl are happy” ……. Damn….. nobody. Gonna pay attention to that?.. Lot of closed ears on that. Y’all so focused on the Bible verse it worked as a distraction. Even the original comment that pointed it out got deleted…
