Love Huey, love FLC. Good to see people in the comments adressing how of a humble, passionate about music and cool guy he truly is. The NMTB thing was clearly staged.
jimi hendrix was not in the Heavy Metal film, neither was the song Purple Haze. Strange that he told that story of coming out of the theatre with that stuck in his head.
He's confusing Heavy Metal with "American Pop" (1981) - The animation super imposed with live stuff..Purple haze is featured in that film and has similar animation styles as HM

jsilence418 ...not as stupid as you!! let me just ask again......and you have sold how many records, and played how many shows, and been successful much? You obviously care about an answer, or you would not reply! Stupid much? Your son Lil Wayne may have bought a guitar but he is not that famous, is he now?
+Dangus Forrester Well, he's the founder/guitarist in the Fun Lovin' Criminals and also a broadcaster on 6Music and a huge guitar music buff. We think he's great - and a really insightful commentator on this stuff. Also, this video is, er, free on RU-vid, so if it doesn't do anything for you, you're free to skip it. You'll find videos with Steve Lukather, James Taylor, Robben Ford, Gary Moore, Eric Johnson, Joe Bonamassa, and so on elsewhere on the channel - but we think most of our viewers like to broaden their knowledge so you'll find megastars and brilliant players you might not have heard of and we love them all.
Just because you're an introverted wimp who hasn't heard of someone doesnt negate their right to speak. Maybe you should seek competent professional help before displaying your complete ignorance to the rest of the world, chump.
+Guitar Man bit harsh. Dangus is just a kid and while his tone was the usual teenage boy combination of aggression and ignorance it doesn't merit a response in the same vein. We've all been there.
