As a puff, I tend to think our common room is the least cool one. Having an aerian view landscape, or on the abbysses of the lac and being able to watch all kind of creepy magical beings in there ?? Sound much cooler than to watch, well, the grass..
i can imagine me and every other hufflepuff peacefully drinking tea and reading herbology books in our common room while one of us is baking something sweet in the kitchen.

As the Slytherin's go for their ambitions, Ravenclaw's act on logic, and even Gryffindors (my house) run into every problem in bravery which gets us in much trouble. Hufflepuffs are those who remind us of kindness. Though all the houses are proud and fantastic, Hufflepuffs deserve more credit. After all the founders said who they wanted to teach specifically Helga said: I"ll take the rest! I will never understand why being true, kind and hard-working was ever seen as a bad thing. Hufflepuffs are the type you want on your side. We always have the best snacks, find all your lost things, and will totally bare knuckle fight a bear for those we care about. I've always seen Hufflepuff as being the house that contains the people who possess every quality needed, therefore they can't be placed in a house that prides one quality above another.
I totally agree!!!! I am a Gryffindor through and through and through, and I work as a first responder in real life. Hufflepuff types are often the reason we risk our lives for others. To protect what is true and good about others in society. sadly not everyone is. But it is the Hufflepuff types of people in society that make it all worth it. I have a friend who is a Hufflepuff type. Here husband doesn't make a lot of money, and some Christmases her 4 kids didn't get many gifts, but they would have the most magical Christmas's. Whith caroling at old folks homes and and crafts and music. It was like a fairy tale!!!!
I don't think that the other houses necessarily pride themselves on those qualities, it's more like each house is synonymous with certain qualities that were inherent in their founders and have continued to attract wizards and witches who have some of those same qualities. Don't worry about the competition and the naysayers. Once you graduate you'll find out it's a whole different wizarding world out there. ✨💖🌟🌌🌠☄️
Absolutely true! That's what I'm always tryna tell others. Hufflepuffs have ALL the good traits equally, so they can't be sorted by just one. Also, Cedric Diggory is a great example. Gryffindor is cool and brave and all that, but I'm 100 percent loyal (as us puffs should be 😉) to my house. 🦡🟨

I don't understand why so many people look down on us. Like if you are not good at anything, at least you can get in Hufflepuff. But thats not true. Cedric Diggory was a prefect and captain of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. He was selected as the Hogwarts Triwizard Champion, for being the best wizard Hogwarts had to offer. What Hufflepuff means is that you just value kindness and loyalty higher than most. If that is not something to endeavor, then I don't know what is.

True! Cedric actually was the real Hogwarts champion. No offense Harry, but you only got in there because of Barty Crouch Jr. Plus, he refused to take the cup when he felt Harry deserved it. He was a very nice person really and it's horrible he had to die. Hufflepuffs forever! :)

Hufflepuff common room smells like freshly baked bread and plants. A relaxing , subtle lavender vanilla scent. Its airy and welcoming and an overall place to come and leave your worries at the door and finally get some rest. Lots of smiles and laughter and love
We read about and saw the Gryffindor common room when we were following Harry Potter in his days at Hogwarts. We read about and saw the Slytherin common room when we followed Harry and Ron there disguised as Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle. We read about and saw the Ravenclaw common room when we followed Harry and Luna there to see the statue of Rowena Ravenclaw. But the Hufflepuff common room we can only imagine. And I like it that way.
I used to think I was a Ravenclaw because I was very smart, but I realized that I wasn't actually Ravenclaw, I was Hufflepuff because being smart wasn't what defined me, it was my kindness and ability to put others first. I am now very proud to be a Hufflepuff, and I am glad that the Hufflepuffs have welcomed me into their house :D
Feel the same way. I saw me as Ravenclaw / Slytherin in the first place, but the Sorting Hat put me into Hufflepuff. It was quite unfamiliar and even somewhat disappointing. But then I found out what Hufflepuff truely is and I'm proud to be here. Hufflepuff is soothing a pain deep inside I can't even find words for.
I also used to think I was a Ravenclaw, because of my love for books. But then I realized it was just me obsessing over a specific genre. I don't value knowledge as much as quality fantasy. But now I am studying to be a healer (a physiotherapist, precisely) and although I love learning, I adore far more the things I will do with this knowledge. Helping others is just who I am. I have all the things you need and even better hugs! Also, tea.
Not gonna lie, I had to learn to love the Hufflepuff house. It's not really well represented in the books or the movies but we are awesome! I was excited to see that Newt was actually a Hufflepuff! Finally some good representation for the most underrated house in Hogwarts 💛 definitely wouldn't want to be in any other house! 😊

As a proud hufflepuff with Ravenclaw tendencies (call me a Huffleclaw) our common room reflects us. We are not flashy and sleek, not always the cool ones but what we are is home. To me home is welcoming, where you can be yourself, your full and true self with no fear of backlash or being pigenoed holed into a label. We do not look down upon those whom we consider lesser than, all we want is a just and kind world. We value community, friendship and loyalty. We are where you can take off your shoes, kick back and relax with your friends and tell a good story and just enjoy the pleasure of the small moments. Imagine being here. The smell of woodsmoke from the fireplaces, the books everywhere, the cozy atmosphere, the Puffs helping each other with their homework... all the other Houses are wonderful, but Puffs are the most friendly and supportive. I love you guys, fellow badgers
A small, cosy, and safe place. The Hufflepuff Common Room is a seemingly endless warren of small rooms filled with comfy chairs, piled with warm rugs and pillows - in gingham or in honey yellow and black stripes or covered in hand stitched patches. There are shelves throughout the main chamber, and into the smaller meeting rooms and hide-ey holes. Filled with books on magic and cooking, and potions and herbology, and anything you want really - not to mention the treasures found between the tomes, gems and lamps, fossils and pinned insects, magical and bizarre pine cones as well as the plants themselves. *Oh!* Let me tell you about the plants, most are leafy and green, some with flowers, like daisies. Professor Sprout brings them down, normal plants like aloe and other succulents, hangers with their fronds waving in your face or herbs for medical or culinary reasons (or both!). But the most interesting are the magical plants, some bite, some sing, we even taught one to tap dance once. You’ll also never go hungry here! We have our own private kitchen that we bake and cook in, it’s often that a student will bake a batch of their favourite treat and get opinions of the closest Hufflepuffs (though always remember to bake an extra batch, or you won’t have enough for those who get drawn by the smell). You’ll find sweet treats lying around for us whenever someone has spares, cookies, cakes, biscuits (someone once cracked how to make a digestive, you can find the recipe on the notice board). Have you seen your bed yet? Because you’ll love it, it’s far more private than the other houses - there’s a small main chamber with the heating stove, with warming pans hanging against it, and cupboards filled with extra blankets and pillows. Each student in the year gets a small alcove from this chamber (close enough to be still warmed by the stove!) that can be curtained off. You’re duvets and pillows and blankets are all quilted and patched and badgers play in the woodwork of the bed, which fits snugly in the alcove. You have shelves above your desk - you can keep your plant here, you should of been given one by the prefects, it’s a tradition to see who can care for it the longest, usually no one wins because everyone wants to keep theirs alive. You also get a small round window above your bed that lets light in, it’s on the same level of the grass, so it’s nice and breezy in summer, and the autumn leaves can also gather there - as well as the snow in winter. And if you get hayfever in spring make sure you see the anti-histamine spell (again on the notice board). Before you go to your lessons, make sure you pay a visit to our founder, Helga Hufflepuff’s, portrait - she always has the best advice and never gossips so you can tell her everything (try her brownie recipe), you’ll see her above the great fireplace. I hope you love it here, you’re personality and magic will grow and mature here, becoming part of the rich tapestry of Hufflepuff house!
I remember when I found out I was a Hufflepuff. I was very dissapointed. When I had first started reading Harry Potter, compared to the other houses they seemed so weak. As time went on though, the more I realised that I was truly a Hufflepuff and I became more accepting of what house I apart of. I'm now a proud Hufflepuff! 💛🖤💛🖤
I was too, but then I saw Newt and realized he was a Hufflepuff and suddenly I was so fricking proud to be called a Hufflepuff. I learned how much of a Hufflepuff I was and I just love everything about my house

I'm a Slytherin, but we have a few Advanced Charms books that we nabbed from Flitwick if you need to borrow any of them. We've already snuck a few animals into the common room, and Snape never caught us. Nott actually managed to get about six squirrels in the boy's dorm. You can come by, the password is "viperus nocturnus" (one of the better ones if you ask me). Just try not to come around dark- Snape likes to patrol around then. You'd get detention for weeks. I am 70% Ravenclaw, 30% Hufflepuff, and when I say I cherish that 30%, I mean it. I do indeed love being a Ravenclaw, but I thought I would pay homage to that small bit of Hufflepuff in me. Good to see you, my half-Siblings.
I took a sorting quiz which is a Pottermore version on a different site which has percentages for each house. 80% Hufflepuff, 60% Ravenclaw, 40% Gryffindor, and 20% Slytherin.
For a long time after I did my test, I felt like I didn't deserve to be in a house of kind wizards. I was temperamental, and I also had all of the Slytherin qualities, despite being a muggle-born. But then I realized that being in Hufflepuff wasn't about your abilities or what you do; it's about how you accept others for who they are and understanding why they do what they do.
Hufflepuff and proud. We have the best common room, we don't have to climb up to a tower or down to the dungeons and our common room is right by the kitchens. We also have actual paint life in the common room and don't have to just stare at stone walls. Not to mention the people, we will stick by one another and help each other out. I'm so glad I'm a Hufflepuff.

I am a Hufflepuff. Ancient and proud. We win the house cup as often as any other house. We just don't show off, gloat about it, demand the spotlight, run roughshod over others victories or fail to celebrate the successes at Hogwarts. We are the glue that holds this institution together... and keeps it sane.

I've always rebelled against my Hufflepuff sorting (I was convinced I should be a Ravenclaw) . . . I’m a mix between a hufflepuff and a slytherin and everyone says that’s not possible but I think it is. It just means that I’m bold and not afraid to stand up for myself but at the same time kind and light about things. It’s like a more harsh version of a hufflepuff. Idk someone tell me this makes sense hahah

How my friends figured out I was a Hufflepuff: My room is cozy with a crap ton of pillows, I have a crap ton of food from soups and snacks to teas and coffees, and I love animals. I have 7 pets and a crap ton of stuffed animals in my dorm room. My dorm mate is a Gryffindor! She's a brave nerd ❤
I love being a Hufflepuff. Also, love this room. I always liked Gryffindor's because of how cozy it seemed, but this is cozy too. Reminds me of a hobbit hole which I have wanted to live in since I first saw Fellowship years ago. It's partly why Fellowship is my fave of the 3 films...the time we spend in the Shire. The sorting knew I was a Hufflepuff before even I did. I think I've grown even more into it over the years.
A fun headcanon I've always thought of would be Hufflepuff's never minded other houses in their common rooms with their Slytherin pals, Gryffindor himbos, herbos, and theybos, and Ravenclaw study buddies all grouped together and it's common sense that you don't fight in the Hufflepuff common room and its super chill and idk I'm just a Hufflepuff
When I was a kid, I didn't want to be a hufflepuff. I wanted to be a gryffindor. So I took the quiz again just to go to Gryffindor. And I did. The thing is that I've realized that...no matter how bad I wanted to be a griffyndor, I will always be a hufflepuff and I'm proud of that. I'm a proud and kind hufflepuff ♡

"Pick out any book you like and feel free to take it with you or just stay here and sit on one of our many sofas." "Oh I wouldn't want to intrude anymore than I already have" I say with a slight hesitance in my voice. "Oh nonsense you are free to stay as long as you like!" he tells me. "Are you sure?" I love the pages turning. I love the birds chirping. Imagine walking through the door with your best friends and going to sit in the commons and study. Your friend, Lily, goes and gets the hot chocolate. You and James joke about Dumbledore getting crumbs in his beard at supper. You start your herbology homework and hope you get an A.
I’m a special education teacher and I LOVE Harry Potter. I play this video every morning for my students to do their morning class work to and they absolutely love it. I even have one student each morning that smiles and says “I like the Harry Potter music. Are we going to listen to the Harry Potter music today? Please?” Proud Hufflepuff and proud educator 💛

I'm doing and it's super fun. So that's my challenge for you guys now I've gotta get back to imagining!
I remember being in Hufflepuff but I couldn't handle the bed (it just made me uncomfortable because of some bad memories) so my dorm mates took me to a prefect, who talked with professor Sprout; who help transfigure it into what was essentially a giant nest(-bed) on the floor to make sure I could sleep and be comfortable. No one was mean about it and sometimes the prefect would come in just before lights out and asked if I was okay or needed anything. 💛🖤💛🖤
I can imagine it now. I’m in my Hufflepuff robes, sitting on the couch in front of the cosy warm fire that’s keeping us all warm in the Hufflepuff common room on a bitterly cold, snowy day outside. I take my homework out and start completing it. I look outside watching others below throw snowballs at each other whilst I am dedicated, and hard working (Hufflepuff traits) to get my homework done on time. first time i used it i actually had random nightmares/shifting experiences not having anything to do with my script. i think it's the music continually calming down and then firing back up because when i heard the music pick up i'd imagine me riding to hogwarts so i kept redoing my entrance haha
i remember when i first joined the fandom 3 years ago, i wanted to be gryffindor so bad that even when i got hufflepuff on the quiz, i would take it again and alter my answers so i could be gryffindor. i realized this year how much of a hufflepuff i am and i accepted it 🥺 i love being a hufflepuff
@@suraya_ I took the quiz this year, got ravenclaw because I wanted to see what cats they had in the pets question and the quiz wouldn't let me back out to choose another animal. I retook the quiz, chose my true answer (snowy owl), and got Hufflepuff.

I am writing a Hogwarts D&D Campaign for me and my friends and I just finished writing the scene of the sorting hat and the feast. We chose to be Hufflepuff and one of us chose Gryffindor. But this music and all the other ones have helped me focus on the writing. Creating your own D&D campaign is very difficult, but since I am basing majority of stuff off of Hogwarts, it is slightly easier haha. This music is incredible and has helped lots!
Theodora Westin Just wanted to correct you a bit, anyone can enter the Hufflepuff common room as long as they tap the right barrels in the rhythm of Helga Hufflepuff. It is basically more complicated than a password which the other houses have.

The Hufflepuff common room is entered from the same corridor as the Hogwarts kitchens. Proceeding past the large still life that forms the entrance to the latter, a pile of large barrels is to be found stacked in a shadowy stone recess on the right-hand side of the corridor. The barrel two from the bottom, middle of the second row, will open if tapped in the rhythm of ‘Helga Hufflepuff’.\* As a security device to repel non-Hufflepuffs, tapping on the wrong barrel, or tapping the incorrect number of times, results in one of the other lids bursting off and drenching the interloper in vinegar. - from pottermore
@@smaltorn8964 Like I said anyone can enter the Hufflepuff common room as long as they know the pattern in which they have to tap the barrels. The only reason why non-Hufflepuffs haven't been able to get in for the longest time is because they didn't know the correct pattern. You can't possibly have imagined that if one of the teachers from the other Houses wanted to enter, they'd get drenched in vinegar too.
I am listening this while studying and it makes me feel like home. I suddenly realized that my own room, filled with yellow accents, plants and books has major Hufflepuff vibes. Proud puffff!
