#hogwartslegacy #harrypotter #ps5 #hufflepuff Here we have a look around the hufflepuff common room and dormitories. Located close the kitchens hidden behind a barrel. It is a cosy place, full of warmth and food. Akin to a hobbit hole.
This is my favorite common room. I'm a ravenclaw and the ravenclaw common room is really beautiful but looks like a museum. The hufflepuff common room is so cozy.
Hufflepuff’s mascot and the house’s element is earth. The creators said they wanted the common room to feel “undergroundy” and “earthy” because of this.
The natural wood details, the stained glass, the mix of hobbit-hole and treehouse vibes! All the plant life, brick, and sooo many cozy seat nooks. The mis-matched rugs thrown atop one another. This whole thing is literally my dream home😭 house further confirmed, oh my gosh
Hufflepuff's common room is cozy. With all that woodwork, plants around, and lighting, I'm sure it effect the kids to b feel more serene. Scientifically proven (even though this is a game and fictional world), being surrounded by plants can make one feel that way. P.S. Arthur just reminds me of Steve Urkel.
I am glad they mentioned intruders get doused in vinegar. Everytime i mentioned thats my favorite part of hufflepuff common room no one believed me that was a thing. I guess not everyone read hufflepuff version of sorcerers stone where its mentioned
For me, as for Hufflepuff, I like the expanded image of the dorm from the "Hogwarts Mystery" and I approve of it. But there is a big complaint: No toilet and bathroom. If this should not be in the idea, then we are waiting for a couple of months to patch this problem. And for curtains, you can put some kind of magic wall and it’s fine. Otherwise, my dwarven soul is pleased with the comfort of the rooms and the fact that the entrance to the dormitory passes through the wine cellar. (Sorry, I didn't write on English and use translator)
The sorting hat should have warned people about the lack of privacy in the dorm rooms. At least the others have curtains around the beds. It's enough to make you choose a different house.
Or maybe House Hufflepuff has enough Natural sentient plants that every student within can create an overgrown barrier of privacy covering ones own bed in a canopy when needed.
I find it strange that you can go to the boys room as a girl, but you can’t go up to the girls room as a boy. I’m kinda torn between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Hufflepuff looks the best imo, but it’s kinda small compared to the others. Ravenclaw is second place for looks, but it has a bathroom which I really like, and I love it’s verticality.
I'm also torn. I may be a Ravenclaw, but Hufflepuff's common room and dorms are SO incredibly gorgeous and cozy. The plants and warm yellow ambiance really bring it all together. I would totally love to live there. However....I would never wear yellow LOL Ravenclaw's common room is pretty and comes in at second place for me as well. I love the sparkling stars on the ceiling and metallic bronze sheen (also I need those blue rugs IRL
I am also in same boat came here to check put the droms and decide..i am ravenclaw according to WW quiz however the Hufflepuff dorm gives me cottagecore vibes soo cozy!
It already informed by hermione once in first book, if founder of Hogwarts believed female students are much trusted than male, so they made rules which female student allowed to came to male room, but not vice versa
Ravenclaw here.. this house feels so warm & cozy. I love flowers & plants. I would’ve loved being here. But Pottemore sorted me in Ravenclaw first. ☺️☺️
I’m a Ravenclaw and I would definitely be that student stuck outside waiting for someone to get me in, I’m terrible at riddles. I’d be so frustrated lol 😅
I got Ravenclaw on Pottermore which I think is probably correct and is the house I went with in this game, but I think Hufflepuff is possible too if you buy the argument that sometimes the Hat detects traits of a house deep within someone and places them there to help them grow, as it did with Hermione & Neville. Basically, even though I’ve always been a quiet nerdy type like Luna Lovegood, I do a lot better when everyone else in a group just gets along & respects each other, so I could see myself being put in Hufflepuff as a way to help me come out of my shell more or something like that.
Our common room. So cozy. Like a home. We got everything we need. Cakes, fruits, tea, fire, a hidden room and the kitchens as our neighbors. We wizards can't go up the stairs. And the best thing: A Defense system with vinegar against intruders from other houses or a wrong knock.
5:54 I am pretty certain there is a little hidden room behind that bookcase, right next to the guy trying to catch the cat. At least the map suggests there is something over there.
interesting, it does kind of look like that, i wonder if their are little secrets in the common room to be found later, i will keep an eye out in other common rooms as i play too.
@@TheOG_Error404 Oh yeah please do! Thanks. Have fun. There are apparently several secret doors that dont show up with regular Revelio spell. unfortunately I cant play the game yet, so I cant give it a try myself.
I'm a hufflepuff and I love my house... But slytherin and ravenclaw have the best common rooms... hufflepuff is great but it's just tunnels and small cozy spaces... same for gryffindor S and R just scream WEALTH and MAGIC
I'm so excited for this game and yet so torn about which house I'm going to be in for my first playthrough I think it's between huffelpuff or slytherin right now but who knows when i get into the actual game on Friday. Thanks for the tour! Can I ask what face shape you used for your character?
I wouldnt remember or know how to say for the face shape, but i have livestream vods on my channel so if you got to the first one where I started the same, you will see the character creation right at the beginning so that will show the choices i made 👍🏻
They could have made the dorms way more fancier, bigger, with private cozy beds like the other house dorms. Disappointed on this one :/ thats actually why i chose another house. The commonrooms are all bigger as the hufflepuff as well and have even toilets ect. They did hufflepuff a lil sloppy 😢😐
2:17 2:39 Shadows and lightning are completely broken in this game. Shadows are missing, where shadows should be, shadows are, where they shouldn't be, flickering lamps don't create flickering lightning on the wall etc. That's why everything feels off, flat, washed out, especially in the Hufflepuff area with the huge amount of lamps.
alot would be baked lighting and maybe shadow geo wouldnt match, some of that stuff is tough performance wise so its worth considering, this is perfromance mode on a ps5 for refence, their is also a fidelity mode, and fidelity + raytracing mode, that might perform differently. Also PC could go further depending on your setup.
@@TheOG_Error404 So far looks the same everywhere. RT also does not help on the strange reflection on water surfaces. After Horizon 2 oder GoWR with their great water physics and optics this is a bummer (especially for a game with its main area sitting next to a lake).
Thank you!!! I watched another one with a boy MC and he woke up in one of the downstairs dormitories - it's so cool that the location of the boys' and girls' dormitories are consistent between games!!! (Instead of it being animated in the same place no matter what). Also, do you know what's behind the door that you didn't go through at 5:37?
It’s cool that they have different places but what annoys me is that girls can go into boys dorms but not vice versa, the stairs tilt and force you down. Seems kind of sexist idk
Honestly, I needed to see more yellow and black. The colors are so bland. The build is nice but doesn’t give me the cozy vibe. Looks dry and unfinished.
How do u get up the stairs... Ive seen ppl do a glitch but think it's patched. Can't u just go up there eventually through story progression??? Or what's the deal?
I saw another video that showing a witch can't go upstairs in hufflepuff, and also slytherin witch can't go into the downstairs, both of them are female, I don't get it
The dormitories/bedrooms are segregated, so you can’t get into the witches ones as a wizard. I think you can the other way round though (which is also how it’s described in the books). As for why you saw the females not being able too, the selection of witch or wizard is not connected to physical appearance or gender in the character creator, so my guess is they had selected wizard
I can't be the only one who thinks this common room is the most boring one and the worst by far. And the weird yellow filter like it's Mexico in an american film surely doesn't help at all.
Hey Devs! Playing Hufflepuff as a boy sucks! It's the smallest house and I can't go UP so I can't enjoy the best view and like half of the house .. so is this house just for woman and desperate man? :D Cutting off from the already smallest house like 50% down (and not just rooms like in other houses but actually view-observation terrace) because I play boy character thats stupid design :/ In other houses this doesnt matter since nothing special is in womans wing. Btw it's a game .. I really can't do shit with woman there, yet still I cant go up and look at the beauty of this room. That is not fun :( Repair that fkng stairs in hufflepuff. Thx.
Stupid design, true. Because when you go up you can see male characters appear in the second floor, that means they can enter but a player with male characters can't for some reason
Well damn.. Hufflepuff is too awkward/shy for me, Ravenclaw too nerdy/smart, Slytherin too evil, Gryffindor too wannabe hero, I don't think I belong into any of these 4 pigeonholes..
As a hufflepuff I totally agree with you. It looks old and not in a good way, kind of like a gardening shed. People say it’s ‘cozy’ but that’s all it is really, not beautiful whatsoever. It looks like a bunch of refugees crashed here and made it *something* .
