Scrap RAM, Laptops, Hard Drives and Circuit Board Sale. A good payout for my scrap ewaste today. To contact me by email: weeeben@optusnet.com.au Keep scrapping & Have fun!
Based on the RAM cards, average gold content could be quite high 1.5 to 3.75 gm / kilogram. Which suggests your 186 kgs of RAM has somewhere between $27,000 to $67,750 contained gold. That's not including the rest of your circuit boards and trashed computers. I would seriously be looking at setting up a mini gold extraction system, you have the volume of materials to pay for a set up.
i process this my self lol hes loosening thousands of dollars per bin its like 260 bucks for a cheap setup to recover gold from these and he would be tripling is investment per bin
😅I am sure there is a good reason based upon space it occupies. I was wondering for some time why there was so much money tied up. We will hear all about it, I am sure. Cash is king and he needs cash flow
Excellent work Ben! Bit envious that you can just sell your PC motherboards as one. We have to seperate them into plastic socket, metal socket and diamond pin sockets and remove any aluminium heatsinks for our buyer 😔
Hello, this is one of your viewers. I just recommend that you should build a small plywood platform of a small ramp next to your scale that you can bring those tubs up and down much easier.
Recycling is awesome, however seeing so many thinkpads get scrapped hurts the soul. Many of the laptops shown are worth nothing but so many thinkpad, even broken, are collectors peices because repair is just so easy on those older models. The IBM Thinkpads (not lenovo) are vintage and highly saught after. I'd pay 30quid for one that doest even boot. The Lenovo ones a little less but still worth more their weight in scrap by a hefty margin. People make their rent just on repairing and flipping those masterpieces alone. Regardless keep up the good work.
Hi Ben. Dieter here in Brisbane, now 2 and a half years in to our recycle business, we are still working at getting more clients. We went fulltime 2 months ago but still finding it hard to make ends meet. Prices here are not as good as you have in Melbourne. Wearenowin theprocess of getting our e-waste recycle certification ISO 5377. so we can get into the government circles as it is very competitive and closed shop here in Queensland, no certification no product. As they want to keep there finger on where all the e-waste goes. There are a lot of re-sellers here. We do not re-sell any of the material we pickup, we pull it all appart and then sell the metals and store the rest for a later prossesing plant we hope to develope over the next 8 years. But all thanks to watching your videos back 3 years ago. Thanks mate.
Holy shit man. I worked for this guy years ago who had an E waste business and this brings back so many memories, the low grade mid grade cpu's ram HDD's SSD's high grade and all the other shit we got. This guy was a major dick but you seem like a nice enough guy and well on your way. If you can fill up larger semi trailers in time, the main guy we were selling bulk high grade to was a Japanese buyer they were paying good. I'll check back from time to time to see your progress. Keep up the great work man.
Ben. You're a badass. So many good things are happening with what you do. Dang, you have a popular YT channel. You're making money keeping crap out of landfills. I mean.... I know this is all obvious but I just won't hold back a compliment when I see one so rightfully deserved.
I see some nice looking {SGI} Silicon Graphics O2😄 stack of three or more time 16.53 . I hoop you wil not scrap the SGI computers. I like your eWaste scrap channel.👍
you guys are so lucky to be able to get paid for this stuff as here on the eastern coast of canada they take it but give you nothing for it and we even have to pay a recycling fee on it when we buy these items new
All that RAM in the bin at 3:50 divide by 2.5 and that is how many (probably working and ok) PC's Ben has scrapped. At AUD$10 (used) each, that is $50,000!!!
i worked at a place that did this and it hurt me to do, i only worked there a year as it wasnt the best working conditions. found an old macbook pro 13 inch mid 2012 and its been my daily for abt a year now, typing this comment on it actually, found it in the throw away bin full of laptops its a shame the lady who threw it out did as it only needed ram as it was beeping the bad ram beep and it was up and working again. my boss let me have it i ddnt steal it haha
I guess the question I have is there a way you can separate the board so to speak within the hard drive for the metal shell that's left over. Or is it not worth the effort to do so.
Outstanding pay my friend but was hoping to see what you were getting for your ram sticks, motherboards, CPUs, and hard drives just to compare what i get up here.........Its $40kg for ram sticks $20kg for CPUs, $1.50kg for hard drives, and $5.50kg for motherboards.....Computer stuff is new to me so only collect free stuff coz i dont know what to pay for it yet.
Not like it matters now but you could set the bin at a diagonal angle on your van and go to the other side of the pile of laptops and push them in, idk just a thought.
WOW. That's awesome. In Canada you would have been paid 10 cents per pound regardless of what it is. All on the scale, all paid the same at 10 cents. Nice work there Ben.
