I purchased the Nebula Max this pass Black Friday. Even the 720p model is amazing the ability to cast images anywhere in the home on a wall is amazing. Will be purchasing the 4K one for sure.
Seems cool but I can’t see myself ever using it lol maybe for family gatherings so the kids can watch tv or whatever but that’s really about it. Having a real tv is far superior.
@@TakeThis_L I'm a tv guy as well however do agree there is a much different feel with projector plus with hdmi input you can thether to home audio system and not have to worry about audio lag. Gaming hell no I will stick with my 120hz 4K VRR for sure lol
I owned both of these projectors for a week. I was in turmoil, trying to figure out which one I wanted to send back. Although the capsule was much more portable, the screen door effect was pretty much in your face even at far distances. Obviously, the 4K projector is much brighter. Much better picture, but I thought I could get away with the capsule because it was “bright enough”. The screen door effect in the end was the dealbreaker. I ended up keeping the cosmos 4K. It is set up in our bedroom now shining on 100 inch screen while waiting for summer where we can have outside movie night…
You bought a portable projector for £2200 to use at home? You could have bought an optoma 4k for £1500 with much brighter picture and a replaceable lamp. The claim that lamp bulb or laser life is a set amount is a fallacy we have expensive lights at work designed to last 10 years one failed in the first 2 months. Is it too much money that overrides your common sense?. Portables are great for camping and such but rather pointless for home use
I have the cosmos 4k, put at 40-50 percent brightness in living room with lights, still provides great image. Sound is great, no issues playing video games.
I hope to see projectors become more affordable because they are super cool when you can pack around a giant screen with you, so many options of where you can set up!! Some of my friends still have a 43 inch TV and I can't even enjoy gaming or movies on their screens..Next time I would love to just bring one of these over and be like boom lets get that 100 inch experience
I’d say a 47 inch TV would be perfect for gaming in my opinion and I game on a 50 inch I would prefer the 47 I don’t wanna go anywhere past 50 inch I once played games on a 75 inch worst decision of my life just awful.
@@bmitchell928 Yes, I think the ALR screen and projector are the best choice for home theater. You can watch the projected picture in different light during the day and at night. It feels like a private cinema. Super enjoyment.
Have a Capsule 3. Bought it for an outdoor event at the beach. It worked great in a dark environment with not much ambient light. Sound was better than expected. Also liked the flexibility in terms of sources. I used a movie on a usb jump drive. The wifi connection was also pretty good. It's a good buy, especially for the money.
Unfortunately I already have a pixel error with my Nebular laser projector...had not thought that this can still occur nowadays, but you never stop learning ;(
@@SilverScreenMagic thanks for the response. Considering this is a laser projector this shouldn't be happening. Dlp projectors do how these problems because of stuck mirrors. As far as I understand this must be a dead pixel due to poor heat management. In dlp projectors same heat management causes mirror to get stuck permanently.
@@AndrewPL5 I dont guess you have watched his channel very long. He goes a little further in depth than just unboxing. I wasn't asking how long does it last or durability. I mean come on he only has the largest tech channel on RU-vid, I thought he could have showed some better shots of picture quality. If thats the case why not stop at the unboxing?...Btw I watch RU-vid to learn something. Definitely not watching a projector video for entertainment.. I take it ur the dream watcher.. hahahahahahahahahaha
I would say if I was buying a projector it would be because of portability I’m near my tv and entertainment system. But yo the 4K one isn’t very big that’s hella portable to me
Duh. Success leads to friction, lack of vision and a payday that requires you fail no matter your success in the past. I stopped watching regularly when there were phones competing with phones exactly alike but called something slightly different.
Very cool projectors, but the only problem I have with both of them, is they're not short-throw projectors. Nobody wants cross-the-room type projectors anymore. I had seversl I literally had to throw out, because everybody wanted short-throw these days. Geez. Thanks for the video.
lol of course they are going to advertise it as some mobile device with people watching tv in the desert, but it doesn't seem to me that it has enough battery life to watch a 2 hour movie without having to recharge halfway in... to project something in 4k must take a lot of power.
I don't know too much about these, they are very cool, one question I have is do you have to eventually replace lumens or Sime kind of lighting bulb? Thank you
Beware! Very good projector but sometimes when you cast from phone/Laptop it will disconnect the Dongle and ask you to reconnect tho everything was working properly
Hey great video shows what I think we all want to see when reviewing or demonstrating different units, well done and thank you. On the other hand wtf 800 dollars for that small unit and nearly 3000 for the big one, are you kidding me , at those prices I'll invest a a 100" tv that a thief can't put in a back pack and walk of with.
Can't believe you of all people are still supporting Anker after the Eufy crap they've pulled and tried to cover up... I heard the word "Anker" and immediately shut down the video. Bad move, dude... bad move...
