Chris was a student of mine and president of my FFA chapter when he was a senior. I am really proud to continue his friendship and what he has put together as a young man.
I was very fortunate to get a personal tour of this collection on July 27th with approximately 30 TikTok/FarmTok friends from all over the USA. I traveled from northeast Nebraska. Chris told us the story's of how he found so many of these great tractors. Some were very interesting. Great video, thank you for sharing this collection with everyone.
Jason great video like always. My dad and I were there as well. I’ve watch his collection grow through the years being that I live in Evansville. My favorite was that great big Rome tractor they had.
Your knowledge is outstanding Jason😄👍 thanks for the amazing tour, it's awesome to see so many steigers and other brands👍😁 congratulations on the 14th anniversary of BTP, it is a joy to watch all of your videos👍👍
I grew up less than an hour from Fargo, ND, and our farm and quite a few neighbor's big horsepower tractors were Steigers. My favorite horses on the farm were our 1976 Steiger Bearcat III ST-220, and my dad's first tractor -- a Farmall 1206. The 1206 got a ton of work pulling planters, cultivators, harrows, and an IH 914 pull type combine. Despite us having more powerful machines, the Year-A-Round QT1 cab on the 1206 offered better visibility and superior A/C to the factory IH cabs of the era.
Thanks Jason. Quite a history of fwd tractors. You finally showed one of those small Fords I like. Never cared for the 8N, 9N etc Fords, but the one with the front wheel assist looks pretty cool!
Great group of old tractor’s ! I was thinking how much time and effort went into staging all those tractors . Thank’s to all involved, in the opportunity for public to view !!! Much Appreciated I’m sure I’ve seen some of these tractors in the fields working and didn’t realize what type it was .
We had two IHC 4100, sold them at our farm auction. They are still located in Canada, not sure if they are being used though. One with duals and the fender cut outs and the other with singles and a 12ft Leon dozer blade.
I was fortunate enough to been there today. Very interesting. When did the relationship with Ford and Stieger happen? Only saw one of them there behind one of the buildings. Great commentary and love your channel.
Bicentennial paint is the absolute best! I've always loved them, and 1976 was one of the best years ever. The wood paneling in the Rome is also very cool.
What a cool Video, about this great collection of tractors. In my Optionen, Case IH should bring back the Cat names, at least as a Special Edition. Thanks very much Jason.😊
Brand Comparison: How did the different tractor brands, like Allis-Chalmers, Oliver, and Case IH, compare in terms of design, functionality, and historical significance?
@@IG10705 the “official answer” is something to do with cabs not being approved under rops standards, but there’s also some quite possibly accurate rumors going around as well. Either contribute to the discussion or don’t comment🙄
Hello everyone great vidéo with a farmer friend of my boss and mee with an operator friend we are desperately looking for a 5500 steiger v12 detroit diesel and an 8020 because ours is ruined and next year in France in Alsace we are organizing an event for the 100th anniversary of this friend's operation
@@thevox1075the brand variation is *mostly* from older days. It’s generally about Steiger, Wagner, and Big Bud now unless a good opportunity comes along.
3 more things: What state is this? I ask because of the distinctive type of cicadas (Scissor Grinder) with their beautiful song which are typical in Iowa, but not Minnesota. Do you realize that you never pronounce the "i" in "axial?" Ax-ee-all. :) The date listed in the description says 2014, but you mentioned 2024.
