If you actually pay attention in the first episode of Agatha, she and Aubrey’s character have history, they know each other. She’s not mistress death.

Rio, you can't kill me. if she is Death, that's true. Cannot kill what's already dead. Agatha, You can't kill me either. if she is Death, that's true. Death cannot kill. Souls are gifted to her by other murderers. Agatha cannot absorb the powers of Death...that would kill her and make her the new vessel of Death. Death loves Agatha... absolutely! Over thousands of years Agatha has sent so many souls to Death...Agatha couldn't help but gain the affections of Death. Thanos' entire reason for infinity quest to gift Death half the souls in the universe thinking it would earn him her affection. I could see her as Death. I want her to be Blackheart. I'd be fine with but not thrilled if she is Morgan La Fey, Mephisto, Gaia, Cynthia Von Doom The fact we know she is an Earth witch makes Death a little less believable. Earth witches characteristically create life not take it away. Only earth witch I've heard people guess so far is Gaia. Gaia would be interesting because that would be Thor's last living relative. I'm still hoping for Blackheart. I just want to have that door open for Mephisto/ Nicholas Scratch... her son of the same name, Nicholas Scratch. These are Agatha's familia. A genuinely stressed theme over the first couple episodes. And we all know Mephisto and Blackheart both pathe the way for the next Ghost Rider. I don't see a road(pun intended) that goes anywhere with the introduction of Death in the MCU. What...? we get a resurrected Thanos or alternate reality Thanos. Big bad been there done that. Not interesting. If we get another Thanos. He needs to be a good guy. Even after collecting all the stones and wiping out half the universe, he was gifted another chance to protect an infinity stone when he was part of the infinity watch. That's where Guardians of the galaxy needs to go from where it has left off. But the stones are gone so we'll probably never get an Infinity Watch saga.

One way I could see this "working", is if Thanos SIDE QUESTED to the Realm of Death, AFTER GETTING THE SOUL STONE to visit Mistress Death, to brag, and show off how far he's gotten with his plan. She would, naturally, be uniterested and she might then blow him off for good. In a rage, he turns her into a "mortal" by using the Reality Stone. That way, they both die alone. He then makes his way to Planet Titan, where he encounters Doctor Strange. "This day extracts a heavy toll", he says. Mistress Death has all knowledge, so she would know about the Witches' Road. If she's looking for it, she wants her full immortality back

That makes sense to me, I assume death has wanted Agatha for centuries, but since she was protected by the Dark hold, and even after Wanda took it from her she was protected by Wanda's memory spell,(Wanda tells Agnes that she lives in Westview and no one will ever bother her, so the memory spell was also a protection spell or at least keep her hidden), so when the kid removed the memory spell it also removed the protection, hence Death and the Salem 7 coming after Agatha, and I assume Death cannot kill Agatha because her soul belongs to Mephisto but she can still hurt her. Sorry if it's too long.

Another few clues to her being Death are 1) Agatha says if she absorbed Rio’s powers it would kill her, 2) the outfit she is wearing when she breaks through Agatha’s door looks a bit like a take on the standard Death look, 3) tarot cards were shown for promos and one was a death card where death is holding a knife that looks identical to the one Rio uses to fight Agatha.

Why do we have to assume we have to go where the river leads us(death)? Why not look back to where the river begins(Gaia life)? All I can say is Marvel's favorite game is misdirection. Clues she is Death...the black she wears now, the tarot card, she can't kill. Clues she is Blackheart... she said she has a black heart. Lilia doesn't know her name and referenced her as a black heart. Clues she is Gaia... Her flash back clothing, we have been lead to believe she is a powerful earth witch. She cannot kill. Clues that she is Morgan La Fey... again with the clothes, she is a powerful and old witch(I believe Rob(comics explained) says Morgan is like 13,000 years old). Rob has a really good explanation for why she is Morgan La Fey. Clues she is Mephisto... Past lover of Agatha. Mephisto shares a name with her son, Nicholas Scratch. Fans want Mephisto really really badly to show up somewhere in the MCU. Clues she is Cynthia Von Doom... again with how she is dressed, she is witch.... it would fill in the back story as to why Dr Doom is such a powerful sorcerer without having to tell the back story for him later. Marvel has already laid the ground work for witches related by their bloodline having near instant access to magic. Ned from Spider-man and Billy from WandaVision and Agatha as well. Now Dr. Doom via Cynthia Von Doom. How many more possible characters can she be hinted as playing? What if all the hints are a misdirect and Marvel literally provided no clues as to who she really is and threw in an amalgamation of characteristics just to tease us. What if...since we will never actually see Amalgam as DC and Marvel won't play nice together... Marvel just makes their own amalgamation character out of several powerful existing characters? Then several guesses of who she is will be inherently right, "all along." (pun indented)

In wandavision, when sparky dies, the boys ask wanda to fix death, asking her why she cant fix it, which i realize that was because wanda couldnt bring vision back from the dead so she recreated him in the hex, but the twins mentioning that she could fix death made me think of this. I think Billy aka Wiccan aka Teen has more powers than we realize. If he is wandas son, and he was able to break Agatha out of her spell...there is definitely more he is hiding. I think when Wanda said to Agatha if i need you i know where to find you..whatever happened to wanda and where she is now, she may have sent her son to go get agatha so that agatha can free wanda. Im excited for whats to come!!!

@@ElliotKeller-w5z That name was already used in the MCU because of Secret Invasion (unfortunately, it's still canon). True, spelled G'iah instead of Gaia, yet same pronunciation, so I don't see them reusing it. Marvel likes to reinterpret comics for the MCU/combine characters, so I wouldn't be surprised if somehow the earth witch is combined with Death somehow (circle of life concept), or the earth/green witch appearance was a disguise. Will be interesting to find out.

It might actually be Rio Videl who placed the sigil on the “teen” so Agatha couldn’t figure out who or what he was and possibly try to do something to him. And this can be plausible because in the teaser and official trailers of the show, we see Agatha and the teen together and it looked like Agatha was trying to help the teen remove the sigil placed on him. And while that was happening in the trailer, we saw the flashes of green (which is Rio Videl’s color) in the lights above Agatha and Teen while Agatha was potentially trying to remove the sigil of him.

Rio never said that Wanda is dead. She only stated “That witch is gone.” Gone isn’t really synonymous to dead. When Agatha asked “How did she die?” Rio said, “Wrong question” If she’s Death, she probably denied Wanda and she herself finds a way to kick her back to the material world 😂

They should have just revealed this in marketing. It adds an entire new layer to the theorizing, and it’s sad that nobody can talk about it without “spoiling” a less-interesting mystery.. unless of course her identity is a final scene reveal, which would be a frustrating waste. My guess is that she found Agatha at the time of Wanda’s death. If you do more videos on this, wasn’t Hela from Ragnarok also technically Death? Would that make Plaza a variant? Let’s hope they reveal her identity quickly so the unspoiled can join the discussions.

Just gotta remember this is part of a trilogy rhat leads into the third part titled" Vison Quest " I think his quest is to resurrect Wanda!! Or rather a part of her anyway. It's complicated. But I believe vision has to go an somehow retrieve her memories from when she was alive. Agatha an teen bring her back an she's capable an had thr know how of how to do stuff in general, knows her name an those around her but she doehave her own personal memories. She doesn't remember her own life with vision or her kids an such.. An so he go's on a aqueat to bring those memories back to her. The kids " her kids, who vision remembers, start to slowly disappear over time once Wanda comes back to life. Talk about a twist for teen ya? Brings his mom back an in return he starts to fade away. Something for sure along these lines. I'm guessing. Nightmares probably involved as well.

Mephisto is behind everything. He put a body in the woods so Agatha can see it. Mephisto cause the fire in the library. Mephisto disguises himself as the man in the rabbit, the crow the rat, and the wolf. Mephisto wants Agatha to get her powers back to get to Scarlet Witch. Aubrey Plaza character is working with Mephisto. Mephisto is totally behind everything. Mephisto doesn't want Agatha to know that the kid is Wanda son. Billy Maximoff/Wiccan. Then the likely outcome for the entire saga would be another snap to defeat battle planet. The stones would then become that story the Collector tells the guardians of the galaxy. If this is the case what if Lady death bringing back people who never existed on earth 616 such as Wanda's son's causes earth 616 to be on a collision course with another universe. Set's thing's in motion for Victor Von Doom to try and find a way to stop it. This could all lead together into secret wars. I'm not getting my hopes up but Lady Death does have the power over life and death. So she could do something like that and if someone who never existed is brought into the world who knows what kind of chaos it could cause...

My thoughts are the same. In the first episode she suggests Agatha to steal her power, but Agatha says that it would kill her. Also Rio Vidal mentions that she can't be killed. So I combined these two and got that The Death would be the only logical option so far. And their 'chemistry' may be a hint that Agatha made a deal with her a long time ago. A deal with The Death

I probably would have avoided this, but the thumbnail was pretty clearly referencing Death, so I clicked... Honestly I thought Rio Vidal or some other random witch was potentially a waste of Aubrey Plaza, so this would be an improvement over that.

I know this might seem crazy, but what if the mcu Thanos was trying to impress her but in a different way than the comics. What if she used him and told him she wants him to dominate and create a less populated and more orderly universe to prevent supers and similar being from resurrecting the way the comics always brought people back. Like she needs the order to have purpose. It could be Her way to make sure she claims the lives that are lost while also imposing her own existence upon the universe in a way that's more hands off

Iron Man dying before meeting the real Mandarin, Peter Parter skipping uncle Ben’s death to kill aunt May instead [using his iconic line], killing Thanos twice before instructing Mistress Death, having Vision/Wanda’s twins w/o Mephisto, and Rhodey being replaced by a Skrull before Armor Wars, etc.

I’d seen all Fox’s X-Men/Deadpool and Fantastic Four films; Sony’s Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, and Men in Black films in theaters. I’d watched all MCU films from Phase 1-3 in theaters, except Captain Marvel. After, I was more selective with Phase 4-present, only saw Spider-Man: Far From/No Way Home, Black Widow; Deadpool & Wolverine in theaters!

Eric on NR pointed out a while back that he kind of looks like Sasha Baron Cohen, which would make sense if he was his son. It’s possible they’re combining Blackheart and Billy/Wiccan into a single character, potentially diving into that origin in the Scarlet Witch movie, Blade, Midnight Sons, or even Iron Heart lol
