I live in Minnesota and there’s a few Asian oriental markets in Saint Paul, MN and there’s a large Asian Mall in Eagan that is super popular with a large food court on the 2nd floor. Love the Wee unboxing haul. ❤
Hey Remi, Minnesotan here. Depending on where Cal’s parents live, I know of 3 Korean Markets in the twin cities area. 1) Dong Yang in Hilltop is a grocery store and Deli in the back. House made kimchis and a good variety of Korean ingredients. 2) Seoul Foods in Fridley situated in a small strip-mall where two doors down you’ll find Kings Korean restaurant. They used to have a decent lunch buffet but I’m not sure if they still do it. 3) Kims Oriental market in Saint Paul’s midway. You’ll find 2 Korean restaurants within walking distance of this store, Mirror of Korea and Sole Cafe. If your future in-laws need any Korean restaurant recs, let me know.

@@juliet-huynhyes one of my faves! My first time trying Nangmyeon was at Kbop. I would also suggest Juche in STP. It’s open until midnight and has a really good menu that is Korean inspired. He’s a Korean adoptee who is looking for his birth mother which I relate to as my mom is a Korean adoptee as well. It’s really cool to see someone get in touch with a part of themselves through food, it’s the journey I’ve taken, too.

Your in-laws can go to the cities (Saint Paul/Minneapolis) for Asian ingredients/products! It will be cheaper for them! I do not recommend them ordering from that site. There are a few Korean stores that they can get specific Korean ingredients/products from too!!! ❤

Remi! I’m a big foodie too and I love your content. Next time you come visit ATL come to Duluth GA. There’s an area “known” as K-Town so tons of Korean restaurants and an H-Mart of course! Plus there’s every kind of Asian store. I was able to find those ice creams and they are so good. Every Korean food you introduce us to I immediately look it up and find a place near by to try it lol. ❤
