As someone who rarely spends on this game, when the popup showed up, I went to the shop thinking "Do I want to spend a hundred bucks to buy this guy?". I was shocked, SHOCKED to see it was a free gift.
100% the same, I thought "oh another leggo behind a paywall" and then saw it just said claim gift. Presently surprised and think this is an amazing move by Plarium
I'm happy for new players getting ninja, though what's the idea on adding limited-never-coming-back champions if they are added later on for free? Removes any sense of player loyalty for old players that felt rewarded for playing for a long time. Again, not a players fault, but more on the Plarium side not keeping up their words.
I agree. Would liked to have at least seen something like a new exclusive skin for Ninja for those who have been playing for years and already have him. But instead, we get bupkus.
What do you mean added for free? The first time they released Ninja was a FREE login champion, which to this day you can't get via Shard summoning, so I don't understand your argument, this is a good move on Plarium, since your talking about player loyalty, because it says to newer players "hey stick around playing our game and you'll be rewarded". I understand the frustration, but it's not the first time a game brings back previous limited time content so newer player can get their hands on it.
@@GJoSuE he was not just free, he was limited-free. Means it won't be available again. Scyl of the drakes is a permanent free, everyone gets her. Now ninja goes to the bucket of permanent free then. It's not about ninja, it's about advertising "hey come and play and get something that it's limited and no one else will ever get him again". False advertising. I like people having ninja anyways
@@felixalaimo It is still a limited time free champion who can't be obtained from summoning shards, or did they made an official statement where they said they would never release him again, or is because it was a login champion? I don't understand where the false advertising is, they are basically doing a second login chase for Ninja for the people who missed it the 1st time and newer players, if they missed this chance, though luck.
At first I thought it was a Ninja Avatar for free. Then I realized, "NO! IT'S the NINJA CHAMP!" Fabulous move by Plarium. It's like they are really trying to generate goodwill, go figure...
I have mixed feelings about this. I loved the fact i had an exclusive champion that you had to be around to get. But also happy that people get to have a chance for a champion that i feel has carried my account since day one. They definitely missed an opportunity to reward the OGs with a dupe or 5 star soul for being around and supporting the game so long. Feels like a slap in the face or someone spitting in your face for supporting them! Do better plarium and fix this! It doesnt hurt you to give everyone something.
Figure what out 😂😂. For every 1 step forward they take they will take like 10 step backwards just you watch I've known Plarium for years this is what they do 😂😂. They will do 1 good thing to appease the players once in a while.

Agreed, this is a big middle finger to those of us who have been long time loyal players. Especially since when he was released they said it was get him now or never again.
I know it doesn't really affect me that everyone else gets ninja. But lets not fool ourselves this game is based around fomo, they could've given people that already have him at least a 5* soul for him.

Remember that you had the benefit of ninja for the previous 3 years. Whilst you won't have anything here, you did get him to help with your account for 3 years.
In all my time of playing Raid, I think this is the biggest, most impossible surprise. I am literally stunned. He will no longer "change my account", but it ALWAYS sat wrong with me that there are champs in a champ-collector game that were purely impossible to obtain. This is crazy.
I wondered the same. A plus one (or faction guardian boost) isn't as good, but with other rewards, I think I would have felt the love. (Also, kinda always wanted two copies, one for Clan Boss and one for Sand Devil)
@@Neuvillete4.6 They are literally giving away an exclusive legendary. Players who already have Ninja, players who have supported the game since the first Ninja release get zero? That's clearly unfair. Give something else, what about a guaranteed leggo summon soulstone?
@@Neuvillete4.6 it was also a guaranteed login reward. My point is that they'll be giving away this exclusive legendary to new players and to players who joined after the event. This move is clearly only available to a selected group. Why not offer something to the players who already have Ninja? Better yet, just add him to the summoning pool which removes the exclusivity. Whatever the financial decision, they have ignored a favor to the players who already have Ninja.

I absolutely adore Saph. What a brilliant, knowledgeable host. Wonderful video, Saph! Ninja was on my wishlist for souls since the release of awakenenings. Still only 2 star. Hopefully I can complete the 6 star and reallly awaken my clan boss team.
Lately I've been a little down about the way Plarium has been increasing the amount of time needed to just get the basics done lately and how it's seemed like I was going to be left behind if I don't spend a lot of money. Although I already have Ninja, this gives me hope that they are at least still thinking of us low spend players and not just the krackens.
In other words, we should all feed our OG ninjas as a chicken because you will then get another free one. Seriously though, DONT do this, just incase the game registers you as still having him!!!

I love how we're talking about a game that has done nothing but release updates that directly copy competitors while doing so with weaker quality and substantially slower roll-outs. That's what people have been investing years of their lives and entire salaries in to. So you can get Ninja, then need to spend 3 more years of F2P or $20,000 to be able to utilize him in a variety of ways that are arguably enjoyable. Wowie.
People sleep on him in hydra, he's put up over 1 bill himself on some NM teams, they just have him in outdated or jank builds for other content, like tanky regen, or affinitybreaker - he has some of the best damage scaling in game with his passive and with the new nature's wrath blessing. Good pickup for everyone.
When I read the first few lines of the news I thought it was only going to be for new players but was happy to see they're making it available for all of us.

I started playing Raid before Ninja was added to the game and I stopped playing for a little bit before he was added. When I started playing again I felt so bad that I would never get him
FYI however they've decided who gets Ninja is not quite right, I'm now getting my 2nd Ninja on my "rares and uncommons only" account (yes I fed the first one). Seems they've just checked who has him rather than who has HAD him.
I will admit, I was a little sad I couldn't get a 2nd Ninja. But at least everyone else will get him. I wonder if this will be a thing where they'll rerelease him every 3 years of so XD

look for ppl who are new or missed out to get ninja this is great but for ur older players nothing which is sad i swear HH going on more holidays than anything else lucky guy
I do see them doing this kind of thing with champions like Ronda, Xena or even Aleksander, which are based on real life people and can't get them form summoning, but I don't think they'll do it with UDK since you can summon him from shards
@@GJoSuETechnically Xena is a fictional character and the champ just happens to look like the actress that played her. Of all of the champs mentioned, the Xena one is probably the least likely to return. Any new contract would probably have to get approval from both the actress as well as the IP holder that owns Xena.

i've had a lot of powerful champions on my account before.. Rotos, Vlad, Harima, Mithrala, Hellicath, the Gnishak, Hurndig... BUT.. i'd trade any of them for Ninja!
Total BS for this to happen. The ONLY way this should be allowed is if everyone got one. This way those who already have Ninja get compensated by being able to create an empowered ninja +1. As a reward for being loyal players. This new accounts or accounts without him, blows!
I've pretty much ended playing this game, though I will check in everyday for things like this and I will be getting Ninja, but I quit my clan and don't plan on playing the game for hours on end like I had been. I'm about 300+ days into playing and it seems like unless I pay real money I'm not getting much for my effort. I'm not pulling legendary champs. I'm surely not pulling mythical champs. I got "lucky" early on pulling Siphi, Royal Huntsman, Elva, and more recently Gnishak, but overall I feel like I'm not getting much "bang for my buck" so to speak where I am now. everyday I spend hours working on quests and tournaments and events costing resources to get other resources. My account is getting more powerful but incrementally. (where it was getting more powerful by leaps and bounds early on). Does Plarium rig it that way? Allow you to get a lot of great stuff early to hook you into the game and then once you're hooked they turn off the spigot and your only recourse is to spend money to keep advancing at the same pace? you tell me.
I love new players are getting Ninja. They should've given existing owners something.... 1 Sacred would've been nice. Or maybe a Noble. They just never seem to get it right. It's really the reason I'm free to play for several years now. 😂
