“Next” was the first Crichton novel I read and I still thinks it’s one of his best. I bought it hardcover on the discount table which also added to my enjoyment .
My favourite Crichton novel is probably 'Sphere', an exciting mix of sci-fi and psychological thriller. It's compelling, even shocking sometimes, but not an easy read. (However, it has an acceptable movie adaptation with Sharon Stone, Dustin Hoffman & Samuel L. Jackson.😌) 'Circe' is a very fresh and interesting take on its topic; I'm glad to see you give it a try.☺ It's even more enjoyable if you have a rudimentary knowledge of Greek Mythology. Have you heard of Umberto Eco?
Good morning, Not meaning to frighten you but I spent many years in prison. Age 17 to 37. I am not proud of my past but while I was incarcerated I learned to read. Although guilty to my crime, it was self defense. 30 to life was my sentence . In 2005, the 9th circuit Court of appeals overturned my conviction and I got released. I read many books in those years . I still like to read. Anyway you have a great day! Later!
@@rosegardenasmr Ah you're probably right. I watch a channel called Gopher and he reads the books from Skyrim. Very very relaxing. Thanks for the videos! Keep them up!
