Not being afraid of a 2 time all-nba forward that’s surrounded by the best team he’s ever had is laughable. Randle is a problem especially when he’s playing bully ball. No one on the Celtics will be able to stop him.
Here's a surprising move that Brad could do.... get another big for the vet minimum of on a two way. A 7'2" big who can stretch the floor, decent on D, young enough to be on JT and JB's timeline, can develop with time just like the Cs did for Hauser and Kornet, can will be on a team friendly contract for the next few years.... Sign Kai Sotto.
@@nbapbaupdate8338 don’t count out the Heat just yet my friend. They may not look good on paper right now, but when it comes postseason time they are a threat to the whole league.
What we need is a good big man besides porzingis and old man horford. Queta needs to average 30 minutes per game when tingus is out. He is more athletic, more coordinated, better at finishing, and better at rebounding than kornet.
PG will be 35 by mid-season and all of his opponents will be 5 to 9 years younger for 82 games with that body................good luck wit dat.........Tatum and Brown at 26 and 27 respectively, but over the next three years we'll know if they're great players...
As it stands, the Nova Knicks and Philly are the biggest threat to the Cs in the East. But, their lack of experience in the playoffs as well as their respective team chemistries could work against them if they go up against the Cs. Though it's too early to say, I still believe in the Cs especially if they can add to their bench to strengthen it or guys like Springer, Queta and the rest of the current bench takes a huge leap in their development.
Knicks. IIRC the sixers hasnt won a regular season AND playoff series against the celtics for the whole of embiid's tenure. And no, draws dont count. Celtics are embiid kryptonite.
Tell me it isn't so, I heard some fucking disturbing news, far worse than any eastern rival. Ownership is going broke. The owners are selling the team, because they are going broke. If this is true. The team is FUCKED. If a cheap ass buyer buys the team, not to compete like the clippers. No more banners.
He isn't going broke, Grosbeck has a net worth of 500 million dollars, he just doesn't have the money to pay for those upcoming contracts, he knew he was selling this team when he was signing all these players to max deals, only thing I hope is he does right by the Celtics and sells this team to somone who will continue to wanna win at a high level
The owner of the clippers has a net worth of 200 billion dollars, they spend money just not wisely if he had Stevens running the show then it would be different, but don't knock the Clippers owner he does spend money
The ownership group is not going broke. C's are the 4th most valuable franchise in the NBA worth billions. It's not the whole ownership but only the majority owners. They're just cashing in on the 1,000%+ return of their investment 20+years ago. Some billionaire or group of billionaires will eventually buy that majority share. The problem with the C's is the impending repeater tax. These owners who want to sell don't want to pay that tax. To avoid those penalties, one or two C's highest salaries need to be traded.
